Every year the celebration of such a celebration asHalloween is becoming more relevant and traditional. Such a terrible event, at first glance, allows both children and adults to have fun. By showing your imagination, you can surprise guests with unimaginable makeup, original dishes, table setting with sinister decorations, etc. And we will try to figure out in this article how to unusually decorate your home on the eve of the holiday. Get a new idea for a door wreath with a big hairy spider.
To create such a wreath we will needwillow twigs, black spray paint, cotton thread and fluffy yarn “grass” white, rose hips and other dried flowers. Willow branches should be used to create the base of a wreath (a kind of “cobweb”). You need to roll one branch into a ring of the correct shape, and braid the rest around it. You don’t have to trim the ends of the branches; they will make our web more menacing and intimidating.
If you want, you can also weave dried flowers into the web.
Cover the base with black spray paint. It is better, of course, to do this outdoors. Leave our wreath to dry completely. This will take approximately 2-3 hours.
Next, take a white cotton thread and tie one end of it to our base. Pull it in the opposite direction and make a second knot. Trim the ends.
Stretch a few more threads in the same way. The intervals should be approximately the same. In the picture you can see a web of 8 threads, i.e. 16 rays emanating from the middle.
Next comes the white thread“grass”. It needs to fix all the rays among themselves. Create a kind of web by fixing the end of the thread with a knot at the base of one beam. Pull the thread to the second beam and make the same knot. Using these movements, tie knots on each ray.
In this way, continue weaving in a spiral, making the circles smaller and smaller. Cut the thread to the center.
Now our web looks like a real one, notIs it true? Making a spider In our work we will use wire, black and gray felting wool, a felting needle, black wool thread, a piece of foam rubber, narrow-nose pliers and side cutters. Making a spider should start with the legs. Using a side cutter, cut the required amount of wire. Three blanks will be the same length, and the fourth – on the front paws – will be shorter. And prepare one more, the smallest one for the antennae.
The wire needs to be bent in the shape of the letter “M”, bend the ends with narrow-nose pliers.
Take the black thread and start braidingeach wire. This must be done starting from the center and spiraling downward. Pass the end of the thread through the bend of the wire and rise in the same way back to the center. Do a similar procedure with the second foot.
Having made all the legs in this way, proceed tomaking a little body. Place the gray wool on a piece of foam. Using a felting needle, shape it into an egg shape. Insert all pairs of legs inside the body. Secure them while continuing to work on felting the base.
Using similar operations, make the head of the spider, do not forget to insert the antennae.
Covering our spider with black hair, connect its head and body.
Decorate the black spider with gray wool. Wrap its legs, make a pattern on the back. Bend all the legs beautifully and place the finished spider on the web.
Decorate the finished web to your liking. Decorate it with rose hips, bird feathers, etc.
