A detailed and interesting master class on felting the picture "loving cats" with a photo and step by step instruction.
We create from the felt "loving cats" ourhands It's not a secret for anyone that pictures of felt are created by different techniques. Laying out the coat and covering it with glass, you can achieve the effect of pastels. If you wag only by wet technique - you will get an analog of the watercolor picture. To get a clearer picture at the final stage, some elements are worked out with a thin needle. However, this time we will be engaged in the production of a volumetric picture, i.e. to add to the wetted, add volume elements. The picturesque and liveliness of the picture will be higher when using a large number of colors of wool. Before creating such a picture, the following materials and tools: • film; • Quick-drying glue; • sponge; • grid; • soap solution; • the frame; • needles: medium and thin; • wool of the following colors: blue, yellow, beige, brown, green, orange. The laying process. Our future picture will have a size of 15.21 centimeters, but you need to lay out the canvas by 10-20% more, because it will decrease in the process of felting. From the ribbon tear off small strands. Lay the 1st layer in length, putting the strands a little on top of each other, avoiding the formation of lumens. The second layer is laid out perpendicular to the first. Wool we put on a film in such order: above a blue, below - green. Now you need to add a sunset. Add a few shades of greens and sky azure. Do not neglect the use of silk fibers - they will help to show the picture different textures and shades. Do not try to make a canvas too thick, inOtherwise, it does not fit into the frame. Cover the cloth with a mesh and soak the soap solution. Perform felting in circles around the entire surface from two sides. Check the level of swamping by pulling the fabric over the fibers. If only a few hairs are clinging, then you are good at stripping the canvas. Now you can wash it off with a soap solution, dry it with a towel and stretch it, leveling the edges. We lay down the trunk. We work with red hair. We tear off the tape somewhere 25 centimeters and add it three times. Apply to foam rubber and create a cat in a sitting position using a thin and medium needle. The trunk must be flat and dense. We turn to felting the ears and the tail. For the ear, take a thin piece of wool measuring 1.1 centimeters and fold it into the pad. Fold the corners on one side to make a triangle. Apply the part on the foam rubber and pile with a thin needle. Create it the necessary shape and pile it from two sides until it assumes a dense and smooth structure. For the tail you will need a strip of wool measuring 2.15 centimeters. Twist it with a tube, apply to foam rubber and pile with a thin needle. One centimeter of the end of the tail, which will be attached to the body, leave not scuffing. Similarly, we create another cat. Color, shape and size can change. Now the created cats need to be welded to the canvas. To do this, put it on a sponge, and in the palm of your hand, roll 2 balls of different sizes. They will need to be placed under the head and bottom of the torso of the cat, to create a volumetric effect. Attach the trunk to the picture by placing the balls, and carefully seal the entire contour, masking the seams. Now you can give volume at the hind legs. To do this, insert the needle along the contour of the foot. Modify the details. Attach the ears to the head and pierce the area of the dock with a thin needle. In the appropriate place, attach the tail andseal the furry edge so that it merges with the trunk. Stripes and specks are tucked in thin shreds of wool. You are free to add flowers and any other elements to your picture, pinning them with a needle. After completing the work on the picture, put it in a frame.
