Have you dreamed of living in a fairy-tale house as a child, whose roof is made of chocolate gingerbread, the walls are made of pink marzipan, and the windows are made of colorful lollipops? I do not know if such a talented young designer Matthias Borowski dreamed of it, but his confectionery furniture would look great in a sweet house, because each item of the collection looks like a delicious treat! Ah, what a temptation for sweet tooth - just to see this confectionery furniture! The designer says that he made a series of furniture "The Importance of the Obvious", similar to sweets, in order to use also the sense of smell, touch and taste. So you want to lick or smell the aroma of vanilla! The series includes universal pieces of furniture that can be used as a stool or a bar, a table or chair, a bench or decorative sculpture. Considering different sweets and other goodies, the designer noticed that they often look like artificial. This is why plastic was chosen as the main material for making confectionery furniture. Matthias experimented a lot with different materials, achieving the desired effect. To create cubes of nougat with nuts, the designer used matte resin and wood, and for sweet lozenges - a transparent resin with the addition of pigments of the desired color. Confectionery furniture will look good both inpublic institutions, cafes, confectioneries, children's institutions, and in the home interior of suitable stylistics. The plain floor of tile, stone, parquet board will be advantageous and will highlight the bright original furniture. By the way, in order not to perestilat the whole floor, you can use the parquet tinting service, turning an old beech parquet into a chic Chocolate wenge in color. A wonderful inspirational creation that opened the artist's doors to the big world of design!
