Make candy: confectionery furniture
Did you dream of living in a fairy-tale house as a child?whose roof is made of chocolate gingerbread, the walls are made of pink marzipan, and the windows are made of multi-colored lollipops? I don’t know if the talented young designer Matthias Borowski ever dreamed of such a thing, but his confectionery furniture would look great in a sweet house, because each item in the collection looks like a delicious treat! Oh, what a temptation for those with a sweet tooth just to see this confectionery furniture! The designer says that he made the furniture series “The Importance of the Obvious” look like sweets in order to engage the senses of smell, touch and taste. You just want to lick it or smell the vanilla! The series includes universal pieces of furniture that can be used as a stool or a cabinet, a table or a chair, a bench or a decorative sculpture.
Looking at different sweets and other treats,The designer noticed that they often looked artificial. That is why plastic was chosen as the main material for the production of confectionery furniture. Matthias experimented a lot with different materials, achieving the desired effect. To create nougat cubes with nuts, the designer used matte resin and wood, and for sweet lollipops - transparent resin with the addition of pigments of the desired color.
Pastry furniture will look good asin public places, cafes, confectioneries, children's institutions, and in home interiors of a suitable style. A single-color floor made of tiles, stone, parquet boards will advantageously shade and emphasize bright original furniture. By the way, in order not to re-lay the entire floor, you can use the parquet tinting service, turning the old beech parquet into a chic Chocolate wenge color.
