    Plate painting with acrylic paints

  • Add thinner to the paint to create a watercolor effect.
  • Stir the contents of the jars with wooden sticks (even ice cream sticks will do), or with a spoon.
  • Apply paint to the plates. Move with a brush, creating the effect of the waves; or type a little paint in the pipette, squeeze out on a plate and twist it to paint flow. Create your own unique pattern.
  • Leave the dishes to dry for 24 hours.
  • At the end of time, put the dishes incool the oven, set the temperature to 150 ° C. When the oven warms to the set temperature, set the timer for 35 minutes and leave to bake. Then turn off the oven and allow the dishes to cool before removing.

    Painted with strokes

It is not necessary to spend hours on painstakingcreating a drawing to get a good result. It is not for nothing that they say that everything ingenious is simple! Just a few strokes and an ordinary white plate turns into a sample of modern art!Materials for work:

    • white porcelain or ceramic plates,
    • water-based porcelain paint (for example, Pebeo paint in different colors),
    • wide tassels.

    Stages of implementation:

  • Degrease the dishes with alcohol or window cleaner to ensure that the paint is better laid down.
  • Choose one of the colors and smear it allplates, then the next, etc. It is better to wait a little after using each color so that the paint will dry out and not be smeared when you apply one smear over the other. Remember that if something in the picture you do not like, the paint can be removed with a damp cloth.
  • When the strokes of all colors are applied, you can return to the first color and make them a few more strokes on the plates. Thus, randomness is added to the drawing.
  • You can add splashes. To do this, you need to slightly dilute the paint with water, dip the brush there, and then run your fingers along the bristles to spray the paint on the plate. If desired, use either one color of spray for all the plates, or your own color for each of them. At first you can practice splashing on paper.
  • Leave the plates to dry for 24 hours.
  • After this time, put the dishes incool the oven, set the temperature to 150 ° C. When the oven warms to the set temperature, set the timer for 30 minutes and leave to bake. When time is up, turn off the oven and allow the dishes to cool before removing.
  • Plates are ready for use as food (paint harmless), and as decorations.
  • Finally, I will note that painting with strokes looks beautiful both when using many bright colors at once and when using just a few shades of one color.
