On the surface of the plate (for a cup or a teapoteverything is similar, but a little harder because of the unevenness of the surface) put a copy paper and a patterned pattern on top. The paper size should be slightly larger than the template.

Use a ballpoint pen to move the drawing, while pressing quite hard on the handle so that the drawing is imprinted on the plate through the copy paper.

Pour the paint into the bottle with the applicator. If you want to give the paint a lighter shade, mix it with white paint, stir it, and then pour it into the bottle.

Using a bottle with an applicator, apply paint on the pattern outlined on the plate. Clean the tip of the bottle with a pin if it gets clogged.

Leave to dry for 2 hours.

Put a small amount of each color of paint in separate jars.

Add thinner to the paint to create a watercolor effect.

Stir the contents of the jars with wooden sticks (even ice cream sticks will do), or with a spoon.
