Of course, at the moment, string bags are used quite rarely, since they have been replaced by polyethylene and plastic bags. However, if you are a connoisseur of the originality and convenience of string bags, then this article is for you. Today, we present to your attention a fairly easy master class on making a bright string bag from an old T-shirt or T-shirt.
To make the bag, find a knitted T-shirt(T-shirt), sharpened scissors, and threads with a needle. Pay special attention to the choice of T-shirt. It should be elastic enough, but at the same time not let the creases, otherwise the work will be done in vain. The width of the future bag will correspond to the width of the selected T-shirt. If you decide to make the string bag narrower, then you will have to make more than one seam. There is another way out - you can opt for a children's T-shirt, the size of which is initially smaller than that of an adult.
First, you need to turn the T-shirt inside out andMark the desired height of the bag with a pin (pencil). Cut off all the excess along the marked line, sew the bottom of your string bag. If you decide to make it narrower, make additional seams on the sides. Now turn the resulting bag inside out. Pin both sides of the string bag together and make cuts with scissors or a sharp stationery knife. Make a separate large cut for the handle as shown in the photo.
