Dress for a party from newspapers. How to make paper clothes with your own hands

In our modern fashion world, clothes are not sewnonly from fabrics, but from completely different materials - for example, plastic or paper. Such clothes are great for a Halloween party or other themed event. Today we will try to make a dress from newspapers by ourselves, creating a new outfit and not polluting the environment. Let's get acquainted with this kind of needlework. You need a couple dozen old newspapers, a pencil andcentimeter, scissors, Velcro and various sewing accessories (needle, thread, machine). To make the dress tight, and not tear at the first fitting, it is better to work with a newspaper folded in half. The dress will be made with pleating. Plissuring is done along the entire length of the newspaper, receding from the edge of a half centimeter. The width of each fold is two to three centimeters at the discretion. Smooth the wrinkles with your hand or with a cold iron. Press strongly. The dress skirt is obtained from four newspapers. That the pleating of the skirt does not go away, you need toline of the waist to line the line. Four parts of the skirt sew together. To make the top of the dress, you need to wear a T-shirt for a mannequin or model, and use pins to assemble the desired folds and dashes from the newspaper. Draw the desired décolleté line with a marker or pencil, stitch the décolletage line to keep the details from the newspapers in shape. Cut off all the excess with scissors. In the same way, mark the armhole line, and fix it with a machine stitch. If you need to wear this dress several times, we advise you to stitch all the seams one more time, stepping back one or two centimeters from the previous one. To make this dress comfortable to wear and notbreak at the first fitting, on the details of the back, which are made in the same way as the shelf, it is better to sew fasteners-Velcro. To make the dress comfortable, we do not sew the skirt to the top. And we sew velcro to the bottom of the shirt and the top of the skirt. The junction of the skirt and jersey can be concealed and decorated with a wide beautiful belt from the newspaper. To do this, you need to measure the waist volume, and with an allowance of 20 cm make the same length of the belt, folding the newspaper three to four times for the density. You can add real accessories for the belt and make holes. You can decorate such a dress with a paper flower or an origami craft. You can also add paper accessories, a handbag or a hat.
