We try to do everything to prepare for them and, therefore, decorate our own house, prepare various crafts, trying to highlight certain parts of our room, decorate the Christmas tree or simply: add some magic to the room.

A special role in decorating is occupied also by crafts,made by own hands. Of course, many things can be bought in shops, and a number of ornaments that we use in our house are perfect for decorating the room. But, sometimes I want to use new ideas and transform my house beyond recognition. What things can help us in this? Of course, the technique is quilling. It allows you to create a variety of items that you can connect with each other. Therefore, today we will consider the theme of quilling compositions, thanks to which you can create very unique and versatile paper crafts. Let's consider several variants of flower and decor-quilling for the composition, to prepare the house for the New Year holidays! The idea of ​​work! Our first idea will be in itselfthe possibility of creating a Christmas candlestick. It can also be done with paper, using the skills of needlework. Floral products poansettii - a flower of winter, as well as spruce twigs - the main attribute of the holiday, and of course, the bumps - without which no Christmas decoration will not be so close to nature. A special technique of needlework will help and talk about the most universal and unique ways of decorating. As always, you should be fairly prepared for the job and collect all the necessary material presented below:

• Take strips of paper for quilling in a width of 10 millimeters, 4 millimeters
• A sheet of dense paper in a dark green color will be required.
• Prepare a tool for quilling, scissors for processing and of course, sticky substance PVA
• A conventional compact disc (which is no longer needed) can be replaced with a circular application of cardboard, corrugated cardboard
• Wire
• Paint from acrylic in white, or gouache
• Snowflakes in the form of felling, or cut out snowflakes and half-beads - for decoration

We prepare the base of the postcard In order to start our work, we needmake the foundation or foundation of the future composition in the form of a candlestick base, which will be completely prepared from paper. To do this, you will need a regular CD that you no longer need, or cardboard. To him we glue in size a paper circle of a dark green color from thick paper. The decoration of our candlestick will consist of incredibly beautiful snowy flowers of poinsettia, which will be adorned with spruce branches, as well as bumps and snowflakes. Of course, we will prepare all these elements in advance with the help of plain paper. Poinsettia, as you know, blossoms only during the New Year holidays and especially often for Christmas. This is the main floral symbol of the European Christmas and therefore, we will use it in our work. Poinsettia as the main flower for this type of craft was not chosen randomly. The nature of this plant is such that the petals of the flower appear just for the period of celebrating the New Year. For Europeans, this flower has long been one of the symbols of a national holiday. Due to its colorful bracts, which form in the form of a star, poinsettia also gets the name of a Christmas star. Quilling a Christmas star So, to prepare the petals of our futurewe need to form a large number of elements of the "eye" from the form of paper using the Quilling technique. The procedure is normal - you need to roll the roll, then allow it to blossom a bit on the officer's ruler by a diameter of 1.5 centimeters. Then, using your fingers on both sides, we press the product. Then, you need to take a strip of red color for a length of 10 centimeters to close it in the ring and then, to give it the shape of the petals. Then, it is necessary to fill the space inside the petals with the elements of the eye shape as well. For one such lobe, you need to put three modules. Also, there will be a small amount of space that looks like a regular rectangle. Therefore, we need to take one more element of the eye and turn it into the shape of a rectangle. To do this, just squeeze the craft on the other, opposite sides. It turns out a beautiful shape of the petal for work. To form one flower, you will need to make four finished petals. The flower will look bulky and because you guessed it, we have to create a special cone. To do this, take the paper in red shades. Then, you need to glue the shapes of the three finished petals in a similar way, as in the diagram. Next, you need to create two more petals, but make them smaller. Next, prepare three elements of the eye for gluing between each other. A little pressing the product on the edges. After - it is necessary to wrap the petals with a strip of red. Then, the remainder of one large petal in combination with two small petals should be glued to the inside of the leaf. In passing, it is necessary to make stamens. Take a small strip of yellow shades and cut it longitudinally. There will be two strips, which we must twist. Then, we fix the flowers, and the stamens are fixed in the center. The flower is completely ready. But, we still need to make two such flowers to glue them to the base in order to decorate the candlestick.
