Bead embroidery of the flower "Field"butterfly" on canvas We offer you to embroider with beads the flower "Field butterfly" on canvas. Photo №1Let's prepare the materials that will be needed for bead embroidery.The original flower, embroidered with beads, according to the scheme and photo. Photo # 2The size of the embroidered flower is small - 12x12see. Because of this, we recommend taking Aida canvas No. 14 square, adding three centimeters on all sides of the flower. As a result, the canvas size should be approximately 15x15 cm. Also for embroidery you will need a thin beading needle without expansion near the eye, scissors, monofilament, a hoop of the required diameter, beads made in the Czech Republic in the 11/0 format.The original flower, embroidered with beads, according to the scheme and photo. Picture №3You can buy other beads for embroiderycountries of origin, such as China, Taiwan, Japan, choosing the colors you need. But although the price of beads from the first two manufacturers is much lower, the beads are not uniform and have different thicknesses, therefore, the beads are not laid evenly on the fabric. Beads from Japanese manufacturers are better than those from the Czech manufacturer, but they are much more expensive, have few color varieties, and are also available only in some specialized stores. To embroider the flower "Field Moth" on canvas, you will need eleven different colors of beads, which are shown in photo 3:

  • beads transparent red (3) and green (10) colors;
  • transparent beads with sparkle of orange (6) and blue (9) colors;
  • matte beads of violet (8) and black (11) colors;
  • opaque beads with white (1), pink (2), burgundy (4), yellow (5) and light violet (7) colors.

Photo №4The process and features of work When embroidering with beads, you need tosecure the thread well so that the beads do not fall apart. There are several ways to secure the thread. The first way. Sew on the initial bead with a double or triple stitch. Secure the final bead in the same way or when the thread ends. This method is not suitable for monofilaments, because the stitch is not strong enough. The second way. Secure the thread if there are already stitches by passing it under them from the inside of the fabric at the beginning and end of the product. The third way is ideal for embroidery with monofilament, using it in 2 folds. Before starting work, on the back of the fabric, pull the needle through the loop formed by the connected knot with two threads. Monofilament is too thin and barely noticeable, so the knots are not visible from the inside, while the beads are firmly fixed. Embroider the pattern with a half cross stitch. One cell on the diagram is equal to one bead. The main thing is that the beads lie at the same angle. Therefore, all stitches should be made in one direction. If you work with Taiwanese or Chinese beads, you will have to sort beads of the same size, then the product will look neat.The original flower, embroidered with beads, according to the scheme and photo. Photo №5It is better to start working from the center. You can embroider one by one with a separate color of beads. But it is more convenient to embroider in rows one after another, because our flower does not have many gaps.The original flower, embroidered with beads, according to the scheme and photo. Photo №6To embroider this flower with beads you will needabout seven - eight hours. Selecting a baguette A narrow glossy frame is ideal for this type of needlework. The use of a passe-partout for small embroideries applied to part of the canvas is entirely justified: the picture will look much more interesting. A baguette of the same color as the beads is completely unsuitable for this embroidery, since the "Field Moth" flower is lost in the passe-partout of blue, pink and red colors. In this case, the baguette should be selected to match the decoration of the walls where the picture will hang.
