Bright and delicate pansies embroidered with satinRibbons will not only be able to decorate your clothes, but also help you to diversify some of the details of the decor of your interior, making it more stylish and sophisticated. So now we present to your attention a small master class, with which you can decorate small cushions, embroidering on them a charming floral composition.

Pillow case with delicate pansies

Before starting our teaching master class, let's prepare all the necessary materials and tools that we can use when creating ribbons:

  • A plain pillowcase for a decorative pillow or fabric for its creation (we used white material) embroidery frame;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • Lighter or matches;
  • A needle with a wide eye;
  • Grassy-green, lilac, pink, light and dark yellow satin ribbons saturated bright yellow ribbons;
  • Green and purple thread.

To make our embroidery moreNeat and symmetrical, we need a small scheme. So before you start decorating pillowcases, let's first make a schematic sketch on the fabric. Since the scheme directly depends on the size of the future cushion, we recommend you to transfer our drawing to the pillowcase by yourself. To make it easier for you to "navigate" you can look at the photo of the finished work.

When the scheme of the chosen heart is redrawn on the fabric, we can start work.
First of all, using the usual
, We must embroider twigs.

The photo below shows that we have embroidered only 4 branches, but you can do more if you want.

In addition, depending on the size of the pillowcase, you can independently make your twigs longer and thicker.
Also, pay special attention to the fact that in this scheme, drawn on the fabric, we point out the places in which the pansies will then blossom.

As you have probably noticed, on each sideOur heart we will perform 3 flowers each. So, pansies will consist of ribbons of different colors: pink and yellow, lilac and yellow, lilac and pink.
For the first flower we cut 2 pieces from different ribbons (7cm and 10cm).

Attention! Do not forget to treat their tips with a lighter, as otherwise they can "pour".
Then you will need to make the bottom of the flower. Take a 7 centimeter ribbon and, folding it at a right angle, fix it with a pin as well as shown in this photo.

After this, using a suture seam, sew a ribbon: first diagonally from one corner, then along the very edge and again diagonally.
Now prepare a 10 centimeter tape for work: mentally divide it into 3 equal parts, bend the sides down and fix with pins.
Sew the tape also as shown in the photo.

After that, all the fragments sewn by you need to be carefully pulled and hemmed.

As a result, you got 2 parts of one flower, one of which consists of 3 petals, and the second - of two.
Next you will need to put them together. To do this, you will have to impose a three-lobed detail on the double-lobed and sew them.

We remind you that all you need are six such flowers. Scheme of action for the manufacture of other pansies remains the same to you, only you will need to change the color scheme.
After the pansies are ready, you will need to place them in the right places and pin them.

Next, you need a bright yellow four-millimeter tape, with which you make a colonial nodule that replaces the core for each flower.
First bring the ribbon to the front side in the very center of the flower and place the needle directly on the ribbon. Then pick up the tape "moving" at the same time from yourself.

Take the fingers of the left hand with a tape and wind it by the needle point so that it lies on the figure-eight. Then gently pull up the resulting bundle and prick the needle as close as possible to the exit point of the ribbon.

After you return the needle to the wrong side you will see a small colonial knot that will replace the core with a ribbon embroidered with flowers.

All the pansies that adorn your heart, you will need to be supplemented with such cores.

For our embroidery to look ribbonsMore believable and realistic, we need to additionally decorate each flower. To do this, you will need the purple thread, with which you will make straight stitches from the core to the petals. Thanks to this pansies will become much prettier and in addition will be hardened sewn.

At this point, our small master class can beConsider almost complete because we only had to embroider leaves. To create them, we take a grass-green ribbon (7 mm) and, using a single stitched stitch, we will execute the necessary number of leaves.

Since we did not have a very big embroidery, we made 3 leaves around each flower, but you can increase or decrease the number of leaflets on the contrary.

In addition, you can additionally decorate the leaves and embroider on them several stitches in the form of an ordinary "chicken foot".

Our embroidery tapes are ready.

As a result, we have got such a wonderful pillowcase for a small decorative pillow.

In order to learn how to embroider satin ribbons with beautiful and delicate pansies, you can also watch a small video tutorial.

Please note that in our masterClass, we first produced two-petalled and three-pile details and only then, by combining them together, sewed to the fabric. In this video, the master sews each petal separately, making the upper petals small, and the lower one - larger and more voluminous.
In addition, in this video clip the center of the flowerAdorns a French knot while we used colonial nodules. Also, the distinctive feature of this video is that the needlewoman colored the lower petal with black paint, making it more similar to the original created by nature.
In the end I would like to note that it does not matter at all,Which of the ways to create pansies you choose, because the main thing is that your work is liked primarily by you. We, in turn, wish you creative success and more original, bright ideas!
