Catching a predator on a feeder (special tackle)
Feeder rods are used by someby fishermen for spinning. It is possible to catch a predator in this way on a feeder, but it is quite difficult because the rod weighs a lot and it is tiring to make constant casts with it. For catching predatory fish on artificial baits, it is better to use special spinning rods. Catching a predator on a feeder is justified only in the case of using particularly heavy gear, for example, live bait with a large sinker or the original American gear shown in the video below. This gear imitates a school of fry and should attract a predator. It is quite easy to make the gear and try it out, but it is worth understanding that it can only be used in places where there are no snags or other snags (5 or more tees will collect all the debris from the bottom).
