Free detailed lessons on weaving of beads bonsai in different shades
Bead weaving is a very old traditionneedlework. Many centuries ago, the first craftsmen wove and embroidered with small beads of ivory, shells, silver, gold and glass. Amazingly elegant jewelry and embroidered items, hundreds of years old, are found in the burials of Egyptians, Etruscans, Scythians and many other peoples around the world. Perhaps no less ancient is the art of bonsai - growing miniature copies of real trees. Translated, this word means "tree on a plate", and in order to create such a miracle, you need a lot of time, effort and patience. Craftsmen have combined these two arts and get amazingly beautiful beaded bonsai. Such a craft does not need care, well, except to shake off the dust. The needlewoman can choose those shades of beads that match her imagination. Unlike a living plant, which can only be green, an artificial product can be of any color. A beaded bonsai made with your own hands will fit perfectly into any interior, will be a wonderful gift and a source of pride for a needlewoman. In this lesson with photos, our Club offers you master classes on creating red, gold and classic bonsai trees. Red bonsai.You will need:
- Approximately 100 g of small beads in red shades (you can take two or more, but in one color the tree will be very beautiful);
- Three coils of beaded wire of gold color;
- The length of thick wire for the stem of the trunk is approximately 50 cm;
- Shape for creating podstavochki;
- Food film and foil;
- Threads (suitable for shoes made of silk or embroidered mouline);
- Wooden stick (you can use a stick for sushi or a pencil with a diameter of about 7 mm);
- Flor tape (you can use a band-aid);
- Acrylic paints (brown and gold);
- Gypsum;
- PVA glue;
- Clear aerosol varnish;
- Elements of the decor podstavochki (sand, beautiful stones, all that you like).
Place beads on the wire.Do not cut off the spool and make the string large. If you want to make a tree in several shades, it is better to string a smooth transition of shades. You also need to prepare pieces of wire about 20 cm long. In order to make a branch, you need to attach a piece of wire to a stick or pencil. Holding it and the wire tail of the string of beads with your finger, make 8 - 9 turns around the stick. You get a tight winding of beads. Move the excess beads on the string further. Holding the turns with beads with your thumb, move the winding to the edge. Raise the wire tails of the wire piece by 20 cm and tie them loosely. Carefully remove the workpiece from the stick. An important point - the tails of the string should be located above the wire piece, when the knot is tightened, they should be pressed to the turns. Tighten the knot sharply. The coils are folded into a ball. Twist all 4 wire tails and cut off the one that leads from the spool with low beads.For a tree you need to twist about 150blanks. Now you need to collect branches from the blanks. Fold 3 balls and tie with a thread three cm from the top. From the resulting structures, twist large blanks. From two to four pieces together. Now twist the branches, using from 3 to 5 pieces of the largest blanks. You will need to make from them: The top of the tree from first-order branches (2 pieces from three blanks) Second-order branches (3 pieces from four blanks) A third-order branch is needed - one of five blanks.
So that our tree stands firmlyyou need to make a stand. To create it, you need to choose any small container that suits you in shape. Make a frame from thick wire (bend it as you wish). The main thing is to twist a loop at one end. These will be the roots of the tree, which will be located inside the stand.
Mix plaster, water and PVA glue to a consistencymedium sour cream. Cover the container with polyethylene film (you can use food wrap or a regular bag). Place the wire frame in the container with the loop down and fill it with the mixture by two fingers. While the plaster hardens, it will be necessary to install supports so that the future bonsai does not tilt. After 2 - 3 hours, you can take the workpiece out of the mold.
Now you can begin to form the crown.You can draw it on paper in advance or create it directly in the process of work, as your intuition and inspiration suggest. Place the first-order branches on the top, then the rest in a spiral or checkerboard pattern. The largest third-order branch will be the lowest.
For ease of attachment of branches and softening of linestransition, use tape or regular adhesive tape. Now you need to form the structure of the stem. In order not to stain the beaded balls, it is best to wrap them in foil.
Make the stem thicker at the bottom with additional oneslayers of tape or adhesive plaster. Make a mixture of gypsum, glue and water (like liquid sour cream). Adding glue will make the texture of the trunk smoother. If you mix only gypsum and water, you will get a more relief pattern of the bark. But such a coating dries faster and you will have to speed up. After you have covered the trunk and branches with a layer of the mixture, leave it for a while to dry.
Paint the trunk, branches and stand with brown paint. Wait until it dries. Take a dry hard brush and gold paint and decorate the trunk.
The last stage is decoration. You can glue various beautiful stones, beads, in general, anything you like to the stand. Golden bonsai
You will need:
- Beads of different shades of gold and yellow (fromlight honey to dark amber) you can use the remains of other works, if they are of different sizes the better, the tree will turn out more textured and beautiful;
- Three coils of beaded wire;
- Aluminum frame wire 1 - 2 m (diameter 1 - 1.5 mm);
- Capacity for podstavochki;
- Threads, as in the previous master class;
- For the decoration of a large flat stone, several smaller stones, shells, sand;
- Brown, black and white gouache;
- Gypsum;
- PVA glue;
From beads of different shades mixed in a containermake a string of about 5 - 7 m, without cutting the wire from the spool. Move the beads about 15 cm from the free tail. Weave loops of 15 beads at a distance of 6 - 7 mm from each other. It is necessary to weave 13 - 15 loops for one bunch. Move the beads along the wire by 15 cm and cut off the tail.
Now roll the workpiece into a tube.Pass the wire tails through the core of the peculiar "cone" and tie a knot. You need from 90 to 120 blanks, depending on your patience and desire for the tree to be lush.
Cut about 15 cm of frame wire.Using nikami (strong shoe nikami), tie the first “bump”, it should be at a distance of 5 - 7 mm from the frame wire (as if on a leg). Approximately 1 cm later, tie another “bump”. Three to five pieces per workpiece. All “bumps” should be secured in one plane relative to the frame wire.
For the top of the tree you need 4 branches out of three"cones". Twist all the blanks in a similar way. For thick lower branches, use a frame wire of a larger diameter and length (35 cm and 2.5 mm in cross-section). Before you begin assembling the tree, you need to draw a sketch of the future bonsai. After you have chosen the shape, you need to twist the prepared branches. Since the shape of the roots of this bonsai is quite original, you need to carefully select the shape of the container for pouring the stand. The roots should braid the decorative stone.
Place a polyethylene sheet in the selected container.film. Make a mixture of gypsum and water and immerse some of the roots in it. The distance between them and the stand should be slightly larger than the prepared stone. Leave until the stand is completely dry. The tree needs support while it is drying. After everything has dried, you can start working with the trunk. Mix gypsum, water and glue (like thick sour cream) and cover the trunk with it. Using a needle or toothpick, you can make grooves as if the bark is cracked.
After drying, paint with brown paintseveral layers. When it dries, paint it white and make horizontal strokes on the surface of the trunk with a hard brush (semi-dry), this will emphasize its texture. Paint the stand black and shade it similarly to the trunk. Decorate at your discretion, desire and fantasy with stones, bead loops, moss, etc.
After everything is glued, you can cover the product with transparent varnish. It is very convenient to use an aerosol. The following bonsai is made in a classic style.
You will need:
- Beads of several shades of green;
- Procrastination;
- Floral tape (brown);
- Alabaster;
- Painting Scotch tape;
- Elements for decoration;
- The container where the bonsai will “grow”.
For the branches you need to cut 200 wirespieces approximately 45 cm long. The work will be done in the loop technique. For the first-order blank, string 9 beads on a piece of wire (different shades of green beads can be mixed, this will give the foliage more naturalness). Place these 9 beads in the center of the wire. Twist into a loop. Step back 5 - 7 mm and twist another loop on both wire ends. In total, you need 7 loops per branch. Now twist the blank into 1 tube bundle. You need 200 such bundles. Work approximately as in the previous master class, only on separate wires, and not on a string. From the resulting bundles, twist the second-order blanks. 2, 3, 4 and 5 blanks into one.Now twist the blanks of the third order. In such a branch there will be 2 - 4 blanks. Again twist 2 - 4 branches together. These are blanks of the fourth order.
The fifth order branches will consist of 3 - 5 previous blanks. Each arrangement must be wrapped with flor tape.
Now twist the blanks in any order.Make a loop at the end without branches for fastening in a container. Make a thickening at the bottom of the trunk with scotch tape, and then wrap it again with floral tape. Dilute the alabaster with water. Place the tree in a pot or any other decorative container, pour the mixture and leave until completely dry. While it dries, it needs support. The last stage will be decorating with various stones, shells, beads or something else to your taste, glued with transparent glue.
