The unique furniture series by South Korean designer Jinil Park looks like it came straight from the pages of a notebook filled with pencil sketches and drafts. However, this is not a defect or a design flaw, this is what the designer intended! The Drawing series collection includes a table, a chair, and a lamp. Each item is handcrafted from steel wire. In order for the furniture to look as much like casual sketches as possible, wire of different diameters is used, similar to the strokes of different thickness in the drawing. Of course, wire furniture looks a little fragile and unreliable, but there is no doubt about its stability, numerous welded seams allow the product to withstand a decent weight and not fall apart. So far, such an unusual series has been released in a single copy for an exhibition. However, it is difficult to imagine its mass production. And for use in a residential interior, it is necessary to make some convenient and ergonomic improvements, for example, make the tabletop out of glass, and put a soft cushion on the seat of the chair. But the phrase "and the final touch in the interior will be furniture" will acquire additional meaning.
