Instead of living out their days in landfills, tires in the creative hands of the designer turned from useless junk into original and stylish furniture made from tires - coffee tables and poufs from the Tavomatico collection, which are perfect for home, garden, as well as for public and entertainment venues.
Transforming tires into modern furnitureIt happens something like this. First, each tire is cleaned and processed to remove dirt and the specific smell of rubber. Then the tire is covered with a special compound that makes the surface either smooth or velvety to the touch. As a color scheme, the designer gave preference to rich, bright shades. The tabletops for the tables are made of plexiglass, and for the poufs, the central hole in the tire is filled with a fabric cushion with a soft artificial filler. For mobility, all furniture made from tires is equipped with wheels.
