Grass under the fingers: a wooden keyboard

You are often visited by the desire to run barefoot onGrass instead of walking in shoes on the floor? Life in the world of advanced technologies displaces nature from our environment, replacing it with artificial non-living materials. Designer Robbie Tilton decided to change some frequently used object and bring it as close to nature as possible in a visual and tactile way. So there was an unusual wooden keyboard with grass! Wooden keyboard with grass Wireless wood keyboardFunctionality does not differ from its factory plastic brothers. The whole process of assembling this keyboard is fine manual work. The frame and keys are cut from the tree with a laser cutter. The laser is marked with symbols, letters and numbers on the keys. The main highlight of this keyboard is soft grass cover! I would, of course, like to say that the grass on the frame is real, as it follows from the whole philosophy of the concept of the natural keyboard. But this is not so! The keyboard is covered with an artificial imitation of a variety of moss! Initially, the plans included a real moss, which could grow between the keys. But the designer was limited in time and in time did not find the right kind. Therefore, an artificial cover was used to demonstrate the concept. But this is even better, since such a keyboard can be used immediately, but would there be a functional keyboard with real grass? Wooden keyboard with grass cover In any case, the idea is beautiful! I would be very pleased to work with such a natural keyboard, every moment reminiscent of soft grass.
