In this you will be helped by various products for decoration, created by own hands. Perhaps the most popular New Year detail of the decor is a Christmas tree ball. But why buy a toy in the store that will decorate every second home, when you can make your own truly original hand-made articles. To do this, it is not at all necessary to buy up half of the materials in handicraft shops, it will be enough to have the simplest things that are in every house. In this article, we propose to make a very beautiful New Year's ball for decorating a house of threads. New Year's ball of threads and beads made by own hands One of the undoubted advantages of this New Yearball will be what exactly you select the color range, sizes and all sorts of nice decorative things like ribbons, beads or laces. Your creation will perfectly fit into the interior of the house, its general style and color scheme. This master class offers the idea of creating a ball of threads, and your imagination and inspiration will be able to do something completely original and unique. It will take:

Threads (best cotton). In this master class they are white, but you can choose absolutely any. Suits like "Iris".
Glue PVA or wallpaper glue. These types of drying become transparent and do not change the original color of the threads.
Balloon.
Needle and thread for sewing.
Needle with a large eyelet for threads, with which we will make a ball.
White satin ribbon about 7 mm wide.
Silvery brocade tape about 10 mm wide (light and dark shades).
Twisted silver ribbon.
Decorative lace is silvery.
Scissors.
A lighter or a candle.
Hot melt glue and glue gun.
A plastic cup.
Small pearls. Their opening should allow a decorative cord to pass freely.

First of all, we inflate the ball. The optimal diameter for the decor is from 7 to 12 cm. In such crafts, the texture and decorative elements are perfectly visible, and at the same time they are light enough and do not look cumbersome. But, of course, the size of the ball is a matter of personal taste. The inflated ball must be firmly tied, so that during the creation of the craft, air does not leave it. Now you need to pour a glass of glue. For these purposes it is better to use PVA, besides it is in almost every house. Now we take the threads from which we plan to make the ball. We insert one end into the needle and, without cutting off the thread from the rest of the hamper, pierce the glass through the needle so that the thread is in the glue. We stretch the thread through the glue in a glass and wind on the ball, after removing the needle. Evenly wind the layers of thread along the perimeter of the balloon. When the winding is sufficiently dense, leave the ball to dry. To do this, it can be hung on a string using a clothespin for a tail. To be faithful, you can first cover the ball with another layer of glue. While the ball dries, we start to createbow. For this we cut off from the white satin and silver brocade ribbons pieces about 7 cm in length. At the ends we make triangular notches. The edges can be fused over the fire or glued so that they do not crumble. You need 3 white and 2 silvery dark blanks. Each fold in half along. Now we need to collect them in one pile, alternating white and silvery segments. In the middle we sew them with a needle with a thread in a tone. After a few stitches, you need to wrap a few turns, as in the photo. The first detail of the bow is ready. From the light gray tape cut about 13 cm. It must be twisted with a loop, as in the photo. In order to get a bow, we lower this loop to the cross of the ends of the ribbon. It remains only to draw the design in the middle, and we will have a beautiful bow. One of its loops can be attachedpearl. The second part of the bow is ready. To create the third part of the bow will need a regular dining fork. We take a twisted silver ribbon and pass it through the teeth of the plug several times in different directions. Several zigzag rows are obtained. Twisted silver decorative cord pull these rows in the center. Strongly tie and get the third part of the bow. We remove it from the fork. At the same time, the ends of the ribbon and lace must be long enough. On each ponytail of a lace string on 3-4 pearl beads. At the ends we tie the knots, this will not allow the beads to come off. We begin assembling the bow. We will fasten the details with hot glue. Using a thermo gun allows you to apply glue point and dosing. On the first part (the most fluffy) glued on top of the second, and on top of it on the third. That's what it turns out. By this time our procurement with threads alreadydried up. Carefully untie and release air from the balloon. We take it out and openings. Now we begin to glue small pearl beads in random order on the entire surface of the ball. We use hot glue. When everything is dry, make a loop from a light silver ribbon and glue it to our workpiece. The tail can be placed inside the ball. The final touch - glue our beautiful bow. Now it remains to wait until the glue dries, and you can decorate our Christmas tree with a ball of yarn or a house. Advice! To create balls of thread as a fastener, you can use not only glue. For this, a paste made of starch or sugar syrup is perfect. To create a paste, you need to take:

3 teaspoons of starch.
200 ml of cold water.

The ingredients must be mixed thoroughly,put on fire and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. To ensure that the threads do not stick to the surface of the ball, it can be lubricated with petroleum jelly or oil.
