The materials that we will need are in every home. Cardboard rolls left over from toilet paper are the main material for our craft. We will also need corrugated cardboard and brads. Brads can be bought separately or in a small set, it is often used for children's crafts. The necessary material for the airplane:

  • Bread knife or scissors;
  • Cardboard roll from toilet paper;
  • Stapler;
  • Corrugated cardboard sheet;
  • Brads;
  • Markers and brushes;
  • Acrylic paints;

First you will need it for a big airplaneCut out all the necessary parts from cardboard. Draw the airplane parts by hand or on the computer and print them on a sheet of plain paper. Cut them out and use them as templates. Place them on cardboard, trace with a marker or pencil and cut out carefully along the outline. Once the parts are ready, make holes in the toilet paper roll. Cut lines through the width, on two opposite sides of the roll, for the large wing. You will also need to make a similar cut for the small airplane flap for the tail.Next, assemble all the parts together.Fit them where needed. Connect the circle and the pinwheel with brads, leaving some space between them. Next, insert the circle into the toilet paper roll. Put all the other parts in place as well. After everything is inserted, move on to the next creative stage - coloring.Now take it with your young assistantpaints and brushes and paint the airplane model as you wish. On the resulting model, use markers to draw various icons and logos, draw numbers - airplane numbers and stars. Cut out the eyes for the airplane drawn by the children. Then carefully disassemble all the parts and paint them, wait until they dry. Put everything back together and the airplane is ready! You can make several of these airplanes and play with them together with your children. Your kids will definitely like both the idea itself and the process of creating their own toy.
