Let's try to formalize the equipment“sausages” made of polymer clay material. This item is considered a blank for the upcoming creation of your own jewelry. In particular, this applies to beads, which we need to know more about. Sausage is also called canes or canes. Today we will look at a simple but unique lesson on how to create a regular black and white sausage with your own hands.Materials for forming the decoration You will need a certain material, we study:
- Polymer Clay (Color black, white)
- Metal plate or knife.
- Measuring (ruler)
- Clay processing board
- Roller for processing clay
- Gloves made of rubber (clay will not have your fingerprints)
- Special forms for extrusion (press)
Forming the decoration We take two small pieces of clay, black andwhite. You need to roll them out to form squares measuring 8x8 cm. Make the squares 5 mm thick. Next, place two layers on top of each other. After that, you need to divide them into four equal pieces. This way, you will have small shapes of multi-colored cubes. Next, squeeze the resulting object so that you get the shape of a small, round, elongated sausage. After that, using our hands (palms) we twist itsausage and get a spiral element. Press the sausage to the board with your hand, roll in the same direction. The main thing is to do this carefully so as not to disturb the shape of the pattern. Next, cut the product in half, where your own pattern appears (see photos).The sausage must be placed in the innerpress where clay is squeezed out. We make a long sausage of thin format. It is necessary to cut the sausage thinly to obtain a special pattern. Then, the pattern can be used to design special decorations.
