In this article, we will make beads from polymer clay with a snowflake pattern. Of these snowballs, you will get wonderful bracelets, necklaces or earrings. On the eve of the New Year celebration, you will create an unusual decoration, which can also become a wonderful gift for loved ones. We will be making beads using the "cane" technique. Materials for work:

Baked polymer clay. I need white and indigo;
Pasta-machine or a pin of acrylic or glass;
Stationery knife;
Toothpicks;
Special varnish for plastics;
A lump of foil.

So, before you start working with clay,you need to clean the work surface. Plastic, especially white, is very sensitive to dirt. We knead the thermoplastic of white color to a soft and pliable condition. We form from it a small stone with a diameter of 3 cm and 4 cm in height. Cut our workpiece in half along, and then cut diagonally each half into 4 parts equal in width symmetrically. We accept the blue plastic. We knead it and roll it into a layer of 2.5 mm. Now you need to cut small pieces and put them between pieces of white clay (see photo). When the internal blue partitions are readyyou need to make another blue partition between the halves of the white workpiece. We put both halves together. Gently squeeze and roll out our cane to 0.7 mm in diameter. Fingers pinch from one edge, so that in a cut it looked like a droplet. We put it aside while we roll it out of plastic hueindigo sausage 5 mm in diameter and 4 cm in length. We take white clay and roll a layer about 1.5 - 2 mm thick and exactly the same blue layer. Now take our blue sausage and wrap it in a layer of white clay in one layer. The joint should be flattened. Our thickened sausage we wrap in a blue layer. Again, take our cane with blue veins andcut it into pieces 4 cm in length. We need 6 pieces. Take our blue white sausage and attach our canes with streaks to it with a thick base around it. Now we need one more white slab, as we did the first time. we cut it into six identical pieces. In form they resemble triangles. We take our blue-and-white workpiece and insert the white pieces between the blue and white (see photo) with a sharp end to the center. We press our workpiece until it isbecomes rounded. We roll another layer of white thermoplastic with a thickness of approximately 1.5 - 2 mm and wrap our blank in one layer into it. Now we start gently pressing our multi-colored sausage to a diameter of 1 cm. Now we need to cut off uneven edges and admire the gentle and beautiful snowflake pattern. To make the snow beads we roll white plastic balls 1 cm in diameter. Cut our cane into thin layers and put them on the surface of our balls. It is necessary to carefully roll the future beads, so that the joints are smoothed, and the balls themselves are leveled. We pierce the beads with toothpicks. We put our blanks in a bag of foil and send it to the oven to bake. Strictly observe the temperature and time modes, which are indicated on the package with clay. You can also create flat beads. To do this, instead of the ball-base, we make a flat cake and on both sides attach layers with snowflakes. We bake in the same way, having punctured with a toothpick. When the beads are cool, cover them with varnish and wait for the drying. Here we have such wonderful New Year's beads.
