The history of the appearance of beads begins in the very distant past, even the pharaohs of Egypt decorated their clothes with glass beads - their predecessors. Long before the birth of Christ, the nomadic tribes of the Scythians and Sarmatians used beads to decorate clothes and shoes, in the territory of Latvia, scientists have found headdresses decorated with beads in burials dating back to the 9th-12th centuries. No less ancient is the history of bonsai, which means "tree on a plate". The first mentions of this art date back to the 8th century. Initially, plants were collected in nature and transplanted into pots. Over the centuries, the art of bonsai has transformed, several of its directions have appeared. No matter how beautiful a real tiny tree in a pot is, its lifespan is limited. You can create an equally wonderful, miniature, durable and maintenance-free bonsai from beads. This will be an excellent decorative element or an original and memorable gift.Making a tree is not difficult at all, the main thing is to be patient. To create it you will need:

80 grams of beads of different colors of green (mix);
Wire of various thicknesses (0.35 mm, 1 mm, 3 mm);
Transparent glue;
Alabaster;
Strong yarns;
Toothpick;
Acrylic paint (brown and bronze);
Various elements of decor (pebbles, etc.).

Cut 45 cm of wire 0.35 mm in diameter.String 7-8 beads and twist the wire 2 times, making a loop of beads in the center. Make 7 more such loops, putting the beads alternately on both ends of the wire and making 2 turns. Twist the ends of the wire so that the loops form a bud. The required length of the wire is 10 cm, the rest can be cut off. You need to make 150 such buds.Twist 3 buds together. Got 50 bunches of more.Formation of branches. The top of the tree. To do this, fold 3 bunches and wrap them with a thread 2 cm long. This is the base of the first branch.Connect 2 more bunches 2 times, wrap with threads and connect to the top by tying on the sides a little lower from it. The main branch is obtained.Create another main branch from two bundles, attach to it a 12 cm piece of 1 mm wire.Wrap with threads and attach 3 more branches from2 bunches, there are 4 branches on the branch. These are secondary branches. It is necessary to make 2 more tertiary branches. Make them similarly, but add one more bunch. There will be 5 branches. You can arrange them as your imagination suggests. Formation of the tree. Screw the main branches to a piece of 3 mm wire and wind them with thread.Attach secondary and tertiary branches, tie with thread. Bend the end of the wire.Forming the foundation.A container of any diameter you like will do for the mold. You need to put polyethylene film in it (a regular bag will do). Mix alabaster (2 tablespoons) with PVA glue (1 tablespoon) and water. Pour the mixture into the mold, insert the tree there, secure it and leave it until completely dry for 10 - 12 hours. Apply a solution of alabaster + glue to the trunk and branches and let it dry a little. Use a toothpick to make grooves on the trunk of the tree, this will make it look more natural and organic. Let it dry. After the base and trunk have completely dried,branches, cover everything with brown acrylic paint. When it dries a little, use a brush to apply bronze paint on top in some places. Let it dry completely. Decorating the tree. For decoration, you can use pieces of glass, pebbles, large beads and any other accessories that your imagination suggests.Now your handmade bonsai will delight you all year round.
