How to make a cake from diapers yourself
It is not customary to come to visit a baby withempty-handed. But what to give something pleasant and useful? Sometimes you have to rack your brains. The gift can contain a surprise for the parents and useful things for the little future owner of the original cake.
“Ingredients” for the cake:– a tray for the future cake; – a cake base, such as a bottle of champagne or wine; – colored fabric for decoration; – colored ribbons; – rubber bands for tying; – diapers, the more the better. – decoration for a diaper cake (toys, pacifier, booties).
Stages of assembling a festive cake from diapers 1.Roll each diaper into a tube and secure with a rubber band. Place a champagne bottle or a small empty jar on the tray. 2. Place the diapers around the bottle. You can make 2 or 3 tiers. Fill the gaps with unrolled diapers. Secure the tiers with rubber bands or thin multi-colored ribbons. 3. Cut out the fabric of the desired size. To do this, fold a square of fabric in 4 and cut in the corner. Place it first on one tier, then on the other, and so on. Secure the fabric on each tier with an elastic band. When laying out the diapers in tiers, each subsequent “layer” of the cake should be slightly smaller in diameter. 4. The tiers can be wrapped with a bright satin ribbon, diapers or towels. Decorate with colored ribbons and toys. You can use red and pink bows for a girl, and blue or light blue for a boy.
You don't have to wrap the diaper tiersribbons, if they are laid out carefully. And as decorations use bottles, pacifiers, toys, booties. The beauty of the cake depends on the creativity and imagination of the people giving it. The main thing is that the fruit of imagination is liked by the parents and is useful for the baby.
