The basis
To make a similar version of the bellpostcards, we will need a layout. You can develop a layout yourself using a sample, or save it to your computer and print it out. After that, we start working with the markings. Take some colored cardboard and draw a line in the middle of the sheet on the back side, and also extend the line using a knitting needle or pen. We trace the template using one half of the sheet, and then trace the second half. Cut out the objects.
Inscription
Once we have prepared the base, we need toprepare the inscriptions. They will be round in shape. There are two options for making inscriptions. The first is to draw the desired wish yourself, or print the base on the computer and prepare it. You can also print your inscriptions using colored paper. The color of the paper should be contrasting with the base so that the wish stands out. Leave a small border during the cutting process. Next, the inscription needs to be glued to the base using PVA glue.
Quilling patterns
Let's start working with patterns. Here comes the moment of working with quilling. To work with this technique, it is desirable to have the necessary tools. We will try to replace one of the elements with a toothpick. To do this, you need to cut off one end of the toothpick and make a split in depth of one centimeter.
To make a postcard with rowan you needprepare 30 berries using orange and red flowers (quilling paper). It is very easy to do this, you need to tuck one end of the strip into the slotted part of the toothpick, and then - make a winding. When you get a volume similar to the picture below, glue the ends and remove your pattern from the toothpick. Make all the rowan trees.
Next, we work on the basic leaf technique. It is also necessary to roll the leaf on a toothpick, then remove it and then unravel the resulting roll, and then glue it at the end. Afterwards, it is necessary to clamp the element on both sides and you will get a beautiful leaf pattern.
Shutdown
After all the quilling work is done, you need to glue the leaf, starting from the bottom of the base to the top. Then, at the bottom of the base, glue the rowan. After that, take the satin ribbon and tie a bow. Our card is ready! You can give it to the teacher or class teacher on one of the school holidays!
