How to make earrings from polymer clay in the form of snowmen, detailed master class with photo and description
As the New Year approaches, more and more are appearingpleasant chores. And one of them is the choice of gifts and jewelry. Of course, you can visit shops with all sorts of souvenirs, but it will be much more interesting to make them yourself. There are a lot of materials for creating hand-made jewelry. Craftswomen weave from beads and various crystals, pebbles, shells, feathers, sculpt from polymer clay and use other materials. At the same time, polymer clay firmly occupies one of the leading places in the hearts and on the shelves of needlewomen and craftswomen. Due to the richness of shades and color effects, as well as plasticity and ease of use, plastic becomes a truly universal material for creativity. With its help, you can imitate feathers, and various pebbles and shells, create absolutely any options that your imagination suggests. In this article, we will create New Year's earrings from polymer clay in the form of crumbs-snowmen.You will need:
- Thermoplastics. We need colors: black, white, orange and red;
- Toothpicks;
- Stationery knife;
- Instant glue;
- Connecting rings;
- Shvenzy;
- Pins with a loop on the end;
- Varnish (for plastics);
We also need a very clean and smooth work surface.surface. A ceramic tile or a piece of glass will do. Stock up on wet wipes right away to wipe it periodically, since we will be working with white clay, on which any dirt is very clearly visible. Knead the white plastic until it is soft and pliable. Now we need 2 balls slightly larger than a hazelnut. Divide one of the balls into 2 unequal parts. Roll them into balls too. This will be the head and body of the snowman. Connect them. Do the same manipulations with the second ball and we get two blanks of future snowmen.From red polymer clay we form twosmall droplets. We will make hats for our snowmen from them. Now take a toothpick and put a droplet on it. Do not pierce it all the way through. Roll it in a circle, widen the base of the droplet, forming a cap. We make the second hat in the same way. Attach the caps to the heads of our snowmen. Bend the sharp ends a little. Roll out a thin sausage of a red shade for the lapels of the caps. Attach the flagella to the caps. Cut off the excess. Smooth out the joint. Now take a toothpick and “loose” the lapels on the caps.
For noses for our snowmen we take twovery, very small pieces of orange plastic and form 2 balls. Then carefully roll them on one side to give them the shape of a carrot. Attach the noses.
Now we need to thoroughly clean our hands andwork surface, as we are starting to work with white clay again. Form balls from two small pieces of white plastic. These will be pompoms on the snowmen's caps. Attach them to the ends and "loose" them with a toothpick. To make the image of our snowmen more complete, roll two flagella from red plastic and roll them out, making them flat. These will be scarves for the snowmen. Put them on and "loose" them with a toothpick.
We make eyes from black polymer clayand buttons for the snowmen. Use a toothpick to attach. It's okay to eat the black balls, they will turn out a little uneven. Snowmen usually have eyes and buttons made of coals, and they are not perfectly round. Now we stick the pins into the cap from above and send them to bake. The instructions on the package indicate the time and temperature, strictly adhere to them so as not to spoil the product. When our blanks cool down, cover them with varnish. After drying, glue the pins with instant glue. When the glue hardens, put on the connecting rings and ear wires.
Our earrings "New Year's Snowmen" are ready. They will be a wonderful decoration for you and a wonderful and original gift for your family and friends girls.
