How to make an origami flower with your own hands. Simply, quickly and without additional costs for materials.
Origami is the ancient art of foldingvarious paper figures. Most often, figures are created without the use of glue and scissors, although this is not necessary. For example, modular origami involves creating figures from separate paper modules that can be fastened together with glue. Experienced craftsmen can create very large and unusual figures using this technique.
We would like to offer you a simple master class.to create a poppy flower using the modular origami technique. In order to create such a flower, we need to prepare 6-8 paper squares measuring 6x6 centimeters. This number of squares is needed for one flower. In addition, we will need wire to make the stem, scissors and several green rectangular strips from which the leaves for our poppy will be cut out. We begin creating our flower by taking the paper squares and bending them diagonally.
Next, take one side of the square and bend it diagonally, along the existing bend.
It is important to note: in order for the flower to be smooth and neat, you need to smooth out all the curves well, for example, with a ring of scissors or a ruler.
Thus, we bend the second half of our square. As a result, we get the basic figure.
Then you need to turn the figure over and bend the sharp corner of the workpiece upward.
To make sure that the corner is bent correctly, you need to put the workpiece in the light - if the corner and the border match, then the workpiece is folded correctly. Our main module is ready.
The edges of the workpiece need to be bent with scissors, then the finished flower will have neater and more bent petals.
Thus, we prepare the required number of modules and begin to put them together. To put them together, you need to insert one module into the pocket of another, as shown in the photo.
We continue to connect all the modules. For greater reliability, the petals can be coated with glue.

To make the center of the poppy, you need to take a piece of black paper, you can use corrugated paper, and glue it to the center of the flower.
To get a more voluminous flower, you need to pull the last petal as tightly as possible and fix it with glue.
To make a leaf, we take a green rectangle, fold it in half and draw half of a leaf on it.
Without unfolding the rectangle, we begin to cut out the leaf. To avoid burrs on the edges, it is better to turn the paper, not the scissors.
The poppy stem can be made from greenfloral wire or regular wire covered with green paper. We attach the flower and leaves to the wire with glue and get this delicate red poppy.
