They were worn by noble (and not so) robbers. Lovers put them on if they did not want to be recognized. Such an incredible accessory will always be surrounded by an aura of mysticism and mystery. In this article, we will make a mask in the style of a Venetian masquerade. It can be used as a living room decor item, worn at a real masquerade in Venice, or given as a gift.You will need:

Black, green and gold acrylic paint;
Acrylic and varnish varnishes;
Ready mask with a joker smile;
Instant glue;
3-D gel of gold color;
Golden braid;
Scissors;
Brush;

A piece of leather (height not less than 30 cm).

Mask.We take our mask, it should be clean, and paint the whole thing except the lips with black paint. Now we cover the black surface with crackle varnish. When the coating starts to dry, we paint it over with gold paint. We paint the lips with gold gel for volume. Crackle varnish will contribute to the appearance of cracks in the gold coating and will give the effect of antiquity, something unusual and exciting.After all coatings are finallydry, draw various squiggles and unknown symbols with 3-D gel. Anything that your imagination can come up with. We limited ourselves to semicircles. When everything dries, cover the mask with transparent varnish.Cap. We paint our blanks with black paint. When it dries, we cover it with craquelure varnish, and when it begins to dry, we cover everything with green paint.After the blanks have dried, we draw onour rays all sorts of patterns with gold volumetric gel. After drying, we cover the rays with transparent varnish and glue gold braid along the contour of the blanks.We take our rays and bend the base in order toso that it is convenient to glue them on top of the mask.
