Tree of happiness from napkins
For those who are just starting to try themselves inAs the creator of the topiary, you should know a few key points. The first is the capacity where you will "plant" the tree of happiness. Of course, in this capacity, ordinary flower pots can act. They come in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes, so there is always an option that fits your idea. If a suitable pot is not available, you can use improvised containers, such as an old and unnecessary sugar bowl or milkman. Suitable and different cups that are left from the broken service. Even plastic cups can be used. The difference of all these containers from pots is that they need to be decorated additionally - paint or, for example, wrap in a napkin. The next important point will be the material that fixes the topiary in the pot. The most popular ones are polystyrene foam, floral sponge, alabaster and mounting foam. It is important to remember that the alabaster during heating solidifies and expands and can damage the container. Mounting foam, solidifying, also greatly increases in volume, so these two materials should be used neatly. In the creation of topiary, an important role is played by the base to which flowers are attached from napkins or other material. In its quality it is possible to take ready-made balls of foam or penoplex. They are sold in some shops for needlework. Another option for creating the basis can be a newspaper folded into a ball or piece of mounting foam, which is cut with a knife and the desired shape. Concerning the trunks for the trees of happiness one can safely say that there are no restrictions. It can be real twigs, plastic tubes or wire, in general, everything that fantasy tells. Similarly, the flight of fantasy will help you choose the elements of the decor. In the course are a variety of materials: ribbons, lace, beads, beads, threads, sisal, napkins, floral tapes. In this article we offer several versions of the tree of happiness from napkins with step-by-step detailed photos and descriptions. Option 1 Topiary with roses from napkins It will take:
- Napkins of different colors;
- PVA glue;
- Glue gun and hot glue;
- Toilet paper or a kitchen towel;
- Wood twigs (for example, poplar);
- Capacity (flower pot is suitable);
- Sisal green;
- Branch with artificial small flowers;
- Elements of decor (ribbons, shoelaces, beads, a bird, a ladybug, a butterfly, a large round napkin).
First, let's make roses. It will be necessary to cut off the bent edges with 50-60 pieces of napkins. It turns out 200-240 squares. Now, each piece is folded in half and fold the fold in the middle. In order for this to happen easily and simply, it is necessary to slightly moisten the fingers. The upper right and left corners, too, are twisted, as in the photo. Thus it is necessary to make 6-7 petals and one with even corners for the heart of a rose. This rectangular petal needs to be minimizedroll. Outside corner bend obliquely. We pinch it with fingers and start wrapping the rest of the petals around the core. For each lobe, bend the outer edge in the same way as the core. The last couple of things open up more so that the rose seemed to open. The tail of the rose is tightened with a thread and carefully trimmed. When the roses are the right amount, we proceed to create buds. For one bud you will need to take ¼ of the napkin. We do not make a fold, just turn off, just like petals from one side. For leaflets we will use green napkins. Cut with twist, as shown in the photo. For one topiary, you need about 23-26 leaves. Some of the napkins of green color are cut intoquarters. These are the future sepals. One edge is cut with a "fence" and twisted around the buds. We fix it with glue. At the end of such a piece, put a little glue and put it in the sheet, as shown in the photo. We connect and twist. We connect in staggered order buds with leaves and without leaves, using as a linking link one more sheet. It should look something like the photo. To create sepals open rosesnapkins of two, more dark and light green shades are required. Napkins fold a stack of several pieces, bend two times and cut out the sepals, as in the photo. Be sure to make a hole in the center. For each flower a couple of such blanks will be needed. The edges are slightly curled, as well as the petals. The spherical basis of topiary can be preparedin several ways. The first - a lump of newspapers or other soft paper to shape the ball and wrap threads. The second is to use the papier-mache technique. As a raw material, take toilet paper or kitchen paper towels. The trunk in this master class is made of a few thin branches with which the fat was wrapped. We fix the spherical base on the trunk with the help of hot glue. Alabaster is mixed with water, the consistency should be like that of thick sour cream. We paste the topiary into a pot, fill it with alabaster and fix it until the mixture is cold. We connect a pair of sepals with a flower andglue to the base, starting from the bottom and heading up. Strand roses in different shades. To hide the gaps between the flowers, paste in the gaps of single buds. To give the composition a completeness effectyou can insert several artificial little flowers between the flowers. To decorate the pot, use a large round napkin. We wrap the pot in it, bend the edges inward and glue it. We tie a decorative lace, we make a beautiful bow. It can be fixed with glue. Alabaster in the pot can be masked with pieces of napkins and sisal. If you want, you can add different beads, pebbles. Fine branches are decorated with buds with leaves. On the crown you can attach a small bird or butterfly, and a magic talisman that brings happiness is ready. Option 2 For the next tree, happiness will be neededthree-layer napkins. Thanks to this, the flowers will turn out to be more magnificent, if you only have ordinary table napkins, then just take a larger amount. It will take:
- Figured scissors;
- Hot glue;
- Capacity for topiary (suitable flower pot);
- Elements of decor (ribbons, beads, lace, all that comes to mind).
We make the basis The newspaper must be crumpled, giving itspherical shape. For additional fixing, wrap the workpiece with strong threads. Thread glue so that they do not unwind. To ensure that in the future the gaps between the flowers could not be seen, glue the base with a napkin of the same color as the flower blanks. Using a glue gun and hot glue, fix the barrel. This stage can be done after all the flowers have been attached, but then there is a risk of crushing them during the attachment of the barrel. Making flowers If you have three-layer napkins, divide the layersand fold again with a pile. Cut the napkin along the fold lines, and then these quarters are another 4 pieces. this is a blank for one flower. With a stapler we fasten this workpiece in the center. It is possible, for greater reliability, to fasten the cross to the cross with two staples. Now cut out the circle from the workpiece. If you have curly scissors, then use them. Then the edges of the flower will turn out to be wavy, and make it visually more magnificent. When the circle is cut out, it is necessary to raise the fingers upwards and slightly crush the layers of the napkin, as shown in the photo. We make many flowers. Our foundation and trunk are ready, and we can startto stick flowers. Strengthen them more tightly so that there are no gaps left. If you want to dilute the monochromy of a tree from napkins, you can paste pieces of green paper in several places as sheets. Different beads or any other decor elements are welcome. The barrel can be wound with a tape. Do not forget to fix with glue its ends. Now we need to "plant" our topiary in the chosen capacity (this can be an old and unnecessary jar or a usual flower pot). If you want, you can paint it or decorate it in the technique of decoupage with napkins, in general, show a fantasy. Now the gypsum is mixed with water, we put our topiary in the pot and fill it with a mixture. The gypsum freezes quickly, but for some time the handicraft will need a support so that it does not tilt. Do not pour to the top, because the gypsum expands when frozen and can spoil the pot. To mask the gypsum layer in the pot, you can paint it, glue half-beads, a couple of flowers, ribbons. Option 3 A tree of happiness from napkins using the method of facing It will take:
- Green and red napkins (any two contrasting and bright colors will do);
- Strong thread;
- The rod for the trunk (this topiary is miniature, so they took a stick for sushi);
- Sushi stick (one more);
- Mounting foam;
- Glue gun with hot glue;
- Elements of decor (for the capacity of a strip of wallpaper, beads, ribbons, sisal green).
We make the basis The newspaper ball is formed similarlyprevious master class. We crumple and give the desired shape, then wind it with threads to fix it. We make a small hole in the workpiece, apply the glue and attach the future trunk there. When everything is dry, the future topiary must be "planted" in a pot. To do this, any capacity of a suitable format is filled with mounting foam. Remember that when hardening it increases very much in volume. When the foam is completely hardened, it is necessary to carefully trim the top layer, to align it on the contour of the container. The internal structure of the foam is porous, so making a hole for the barrel with scissors will be easy enough. We glue the topiary into the container. While glue dries, we start to createblanks from napkins. A napkin is better to take a big one. Green should be delineated into squares with a side of 3 cm. Now it is necessary to cut into pieces according to the planned lines. The napkin in this master class is one-color,so we add 2 squares so that both sides turn out to be colored. Now we take the second wand and the resulting double square, place the pointed end of the wand in its center and crush the napkin around the stick with fingers. The number of such blanks will depend on the size of the ball-shaped base, but in any case they will need a lot. Of the napkins of red color, we will make roses. The napkin must be cut into 4 pieces. For each rose, you need 2. Each slice rolls a tube, using a stick for sushi. Now you have to crush her accordion. From one such crumpled tube doA core, simply having curtailed it a dense ring. The second tube is wrapped around the first one. It is necessary to tie a small tail with a thread. For a small tree, 4 to 5 flowers will suffice. Hot glue to the base first attach the roses. Glue evenly over the entire surface of the ball. And then we begin to fill the rest of the space with green blanks. The final stage, as always, will be the design anddecoration crafts. We wrap our wallpaper with a piece of wallpaper. To mask the mounting foam, put the green sisal. For each rosette paste 3-4 beads. If desired, decorate with ribbons, attach an artificial ladybug, which harmoniously blends into this color solution of the topiary.
