Photo # 2Satin flowers for headband decoration haveunusual shape, they are not flat, like most products in the kanzashi technique, but dome-shaped. For these flowers, large inverted petals are needed, which are created from satin square blanks and have a size of 5 by 5 cm. For each flower, five elements are needed, and the composition involves three inflorescences, so prepare 15 satin squares in white.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. To do this, fold the square in half into a triangle, folding it from one corner to the other.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo №5The next step is to collapse the part.in half, turning it into a triangle of four layers. It is necessary to mark the middle correctly, shifting to one edge or another will not allow you to ultimately create a beautiful petal, since the edges will not fuse together.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo №6The last bend runs from the center of the longedges to the opposite right angle and cuts the element in half. When you bend the part along this line, a beautiful white petal with a pointed shape is formed.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo №7The lower part of the element must be cauterized.with a burner or soldering iron. To do this, heat up the tool, place the part on its side, press the layers of satin with a metal ruler and draw a line that will connect the base of the petal and the center of the rib part of the element. Straighten the petal and bend its central part to form a slide. To give the part a neater look, it is necessary to lightly burn the base of the petal in a straightened form, then it will be easier to fix the parts next to each other.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo №8Create five identical petals, andproceed to gluing them. The elements are attached to each other at the bottom, fixed with hot glue. First glue the second petal to the first, then the third to the second, the fourth to the third and the fifth to petal number four. It is too early to glue the outer parts.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo Number 9 Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Then, apply glue to the base of the flower where the petals are fixed and press the stamens. Next, you need to apply glue to the edge of the first petal and fix the other edge of the last element to it.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo Number 11The result is an original white flower of an unusual shape, very similar to a snowdrop. To decorate the headband, you need to create three such inflorescences.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo number 12When the flowers are ready, you can start creatingthe base for the bouquet. It will be made of long tubular white petals. For such petals, take a thin ribbon and cut it into 12 cm pieces. Each piece is folded across strictly in the center so that its corners rest on each other. The satin side should be facing outward. Press the satin with a ruler so that a line is formed from the upper left corner to the opposite corner along an oblique line. But do not move the ruler close to the lower corner, step back about half a centimeter and draw a hot burner along this line so that the layers of fabric are welded. The extra triangle that remains will not be needed later. The resulting element should be turned out through the gap that remains between the lower corner and the place where the fabric is soldered. As a result, you get a beautiful tubular petal. Take an oblong satin base (the oval size is about 3 cm). Glue the tubular elements onto it so that they diverge almost symmetrically in different directions.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo №13Now let's get to work with lace.We cut it according to the drawing into elements with protruding parts. We glue each such beautiful detail to the base in a convenient place between the tubular petals, it should turn out to be a lush component for the entire decoration.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. Photo Number 14Three flowers need to be glued togethera single composition. But the flowers of white satin merge with each other and the beauty of each inflorescence is lost, so the transitions of one and another flower should be highlighted with an accent, for example, a lace element. Therefore, in the places where the flowers connect with each other, insert diving parts of openwork lace.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique. The resulting decoration should be attached to the side of the headband or you can decorate an automatic hair clip with it, which has an oblong oval top. The flower is tried on the headband "dry", that is, without using glue, and only when you have decided on its exact location, you need to apply glue to the back of the base and attach it to the headband.Photos of steps for making a rim with a flower in Kansas technique.
