- Corrugated paper (the color will depend only on what color the woman prefers) in this master class is brightly lilac.
- Floral wire is green.
- Wooden skewers or chopsticks for Chinese food.
- Floral green ribbon.
- Scissors.
- Thin scotch.
- Narrow and wide ribbons, matching the color of the paper. In this master class – pink. Those that are used for gift wrapping are suitable.
- A ready-made bow for decorating a bouquet.
- Artificial greens (sold in floristic shops).
- Paper for wrapping a bouquet. In this master class – transparent pink.
- Tools for working with wire (nippers, pliers).
- Sweets (the most favorite). The shape of the truffles is best.
Cut the wire into pieces of approximately 25-30 cmin length. We make a small loop at the end and bend it at an angle of 90 degrees to the rest of the segment. These are future flower stems. Let's put them aside for now. Now let's take care of the buds. To do this, you need to cut the corrugated paper into pieces of 18x12 cm. From each of the rectangles you need to cut approximately ¼ (see photo).Place the quarter on top of the main piecepaper As shown in the photo. Place candy on top. In order for the wire stem to hold more firmly, you can glue it to the candy with a small piece of tape. Using the loop as a base. Now we roll up the paper with the candy inside and carefully twist the corrugation on the wire stem. This is what happened.Take the green floral tape and fix itpaper on wire (see photo). We tie a small piece of thin ribbon (about 0.5 cm wide) around the flowers a little higher, where the candy ends and the candy wrapper begins.Open the top part of the corrugated paper andstretch it a little, forming petals. The edges of the ribbon can be twisted a little. To do this, you just need to forcefully press them at the base to the sharp edge of the scissors and draw them all the way, pulling. We will need 7 of these flowers for the bouquet. When all the flowers are ready, we begin to form the bouquet. As a base, you can use long wooden skewers, which are used in cooking or Chinese food sticks.Using green floral tape, we wrap the flowers in a checkerboard pattern, going down to such a stick. Add artificial stems. You need to wrap the entire stick with flor tape. When the flowers take their places, decorate the bouquet with beautiful paper, ribbons and a bow.Bouquet of orchids with chrysanthemumsOrchids are considered one of the most beautiful flowers. The Maori tribe from New Zealand has a wonderful legend about them. In those distant times, when the sun admired the beauty of the earth every day, the world was inhabited only by spirits. One day, clouds blocked the sun’s view of the earth’s beauties, and it pierced the cover with its ray. The rain fell and a beautiful rainbow shone, which turned out to be so big, bright and incredible that all the spirits flew in and sat on it. Unable to bear their weight, the rainbow split into many small fragments, and where they touched the ground, the most beautiful flowers grew – orchids. In order to create these rainbow shards from the legend, you will need:
- Corrugated paper beige, light green (salad), dark green, light lilac and dark lilac flowers.
- Polisilk is a golden color.
- Threads.
- Pencil with straight, not faceted sides.
- Sweets are rectangular and small round in shape.
- Hot glue and glue gun.
- A small box in which our flowers will be.
- A thin brush and a watercolor paint of violet color.
- Tapes of different thickness.
- Tools for working with wire (round-nosed pliers, cutters, etc.).
- Elements for the decoration of the box (sisal, tinsel, sequins, beads, etc.).
- Styrofoam or penoplex (you can also use a floral sponge) to fix the flowers in the box.
First, let's prepare the wire pieces forcolors. At one end of each segment it is necessary to form a loop. You will need 5 pieces of approximately 17 cm in length for orchids, 2 pieces of 20 cm and 4 pieces of 5 cm each for orchid buds. For chrysanthemums you need to make 10 pieces of approximately 17 cm in length.Let's start with orchid flowers.Using 17 cm pieces of wire, we attach rectangular candies to the end that is folded into a loop. We do this using thread or thin tape, since hot glue can damage the candy wrapper. We simply place the wire loop between the layers of candy wrapper and wrap it tightly with thread. When all the core blanks are ready, let's startpetals. For the inner petals you will need beige corrugated paper. It is necessary to cut rectangles 5x7 cm. Using scissors we shape one of the narrow sides as shown in the photo. In order to depict the dots on the petal,We use a thin brush and purple watercolor paint. Be as careful as possible; too many paint stains can make the paper too wet and weak. We cut off the long sides a little to make a petal, as in the photo. To give the desired shape, you need to stretch the petal a little and bend the painted edges. A regular pencil with smooth sides is suitable for this. Then use your fingers to gently stretch the middle of the petal so that it takes a cylindrical shape and easily wraps the candy. This is what should happen. We tightly wrap the petal into the wire stem with threads. Cut out the next petals from light green paper. The shape is clearly visible in the photo. The blanks are obtained in rectangles 5x6 cm.For each flower you need 2 such rectangles. Similar to the first, we bend and slightly stretch the petals so that they acquire a convex shape. Using hot glue we attach it on both sides of the core, as in the photo. Now we cut out the last, narrowest petals of the orchid. You will need 3 pieces for each flower. The dimensions of the rectangles for cutting such blanks are approximately 4x8 cm.Pay close attention to how they are positionedcorrugated grooves. Look at the photos more often. So as not to make a mistake. We attach the last three petals using a heat gun in a checkerboard pattern relative to the two previous petals. One sharp long petal is located opposite the other two. This is what should happen. We cut the ribbons that we chose for decoration into pieces about 20 cm each. Fold it in half and secure it at the base of the flower with hot glue. This is how we make the rest of the orchid flowers. For the buds we will need small round candies. We wind them with threads to pieces of wire with loops in the same way as flowers. Now each bud needs to be wrapped darkgreen corrugated paper. We combine every three buds into one branch and also wrap the entire surface with thin ribbons of corrugated paper. Don't forget to apply a drop of glue to secure it.We also make chrysanthemum hearts from small ones.round sweets. We attach them to pieces of wire, just like before the orchid buds. But instead of corrugated paper there will be golden polysilk on top. This thin and elastic material is sold in florist shops. We cut out small squares from it and wrap them around the candies. We fasten it to the wire with threads. We cut off the edges of the polysilk to get a straight and short edge.Cut out a strip of 7x25 cm from light lilac paper. Fold it in half lengthwise and cut the edge with a fold into a fringe. The thinner the stripes, the fluffier the chrysanthemum will turn out.Now you can fold it in half wide. We wrap the candy in a spiral with the resulting blank so that each subsequent turn is slightly higher than the previous one. We secure everything with threads. When all the flowers are ready, you can startdecorating the box. We cover it with dark lilac paper. On top of the corrugation we glue sisal fibers, beads, beads, ribbons or any other decor to our liking.Glue foam or floral sponge to the bottom of the box. Now all that remains is to secure the orchids and chrysanthemums in the box. You can decorate with bows or just pieces of ribbon if desired.
