If you want to know how easy it is to cut and sew a sarafan for a girl, then check out the two below presented ways of cutting. The simplest model of children's sarafan For beginners or those mothers who have a catastrophically no time, the best solution to sew an interesting sarafan for the girl will be a very simple model. It is not difficult to find it. To begin with, you need to draw two identical rectangular shapes. This will be our pattern. Given the simplicity of its construction, you can draw it directly to the fabric. The size of the rectangles will be individual and depends on the measurements taken from the baby. The width of the pattern should correspond to a measurement equal to the waist size of a small model - a girl. The length, as a rule, is individual - it is calculated from the hand and to the measure of length, which will be in the future finished thing. In addition to the length of the pattern, add ten centimeters, which are required for folding on the bottom of the sarafan and for forming a cusp, in which we will insert the elastic. On the width it is necessary, also, to make an increase of one and a half centimeter from each side to the seams. Now cut out the rectangles and sew on both sides. On the top edge of the product we make the kuliska, where we insert the elastic. We fold and sew on the lower edge. To the top of the sarafan, only straps remained to be sewn. To produce them you will need the same material from which the sarafan itself is sewn, or the satin ribbon in the tone of the product itself. In principle, a sarafan is ready. If desired, you can add decor, decorate with embroidery and so on. Agree that this outfit will necessarily make the girl very pretty and beautiful. Building a pattern of a simple children's sundress-dance With the pattern and sewing of this model of children'ssarafan will cope with every master, regardless of how much she is experienced. Building a pattern does not take much effort and time. The process is fairly easy to perform. To do the work, you need to take a T-shirt from the wardrobe. Choose a thing that fits optimally well on the baby. Besides this you will need paper. You can use whatman or the remains of unnecessary wallpaper, which, perhaps, you have left from the repair. It is on this paper that we will draw a drawing of the pattern. Take the T-shirt and fold it twice. In this case, the front of the product should be outside. We apply the product to the paper. The distance from the edge of the sheet should be about 10 centimeters. We outline the contours of the t-shirt with a pencil. Do not forget that the neckline of the front of the product will be slightly lower than the backrest cutout. In order for the drawing to be transferred as accurately as possible, make a puncture along the outline of the neck opening with a pin. On paper there will be punctures that will indicate where to make the neck. It only remains to connect the punctures by drawing a line. Thus, we get a cutout of the front part of the product. Do not forget that the length we make our own, the one that is necessary according to the measurements taken from the girl. If you want a sarafan to be more magnificent, the pattern will have to be slightly adjusted. To do this, we need to do a bit wider than it was originally and, naturally, longer. To extend the drawing of the pattern, you need to lay down the necessary amount of centimeters from the bottom line and mark the points, which are then connected by means of a line. The process of increasing the width is somewhat different from the previous one. From the bottom edge of the pattern from both sides we need to postpone about eight to ten centimeters and put a point. Now connect the point with the bottom edge and the beginning of the armhole armhole. The bottom on each side is slightly rounded, as shown in the figure. Otherwise, after the tailoring of the product, the edges will be somewhat extended at the sides, and the front and back will be shorter than the sides. The resulting pattern must be re-placed onpaper and circle. Thus, we will copy the existing pattern. This pattern will be the back of our sarafan. In the first drawing, we trim the cutout of the throat along a minor line. Thus, the front part of the sarafan is obtained. The neck cuts can be modified. Then we will have different models of the product. The very pattern is ready. It remains to accurately transfer it to a fabric folded in half. When moving the drawing, remember that you must leave allowances for seams. Therefore, we will draw all the lines at a distance of about one and a half centimeters from the pattern itself. It remains to cut out the details and sew them into a complete product. Be sure to first try on the fitting and only then stitch all the stitches. To the sarafan it is possible to sew up sleeves, make a belt, add decor elements. Everything is in your hands and depends only on your desire. You can use the pattern that you see below. The construction of this drawing, as well as in the previous case, is as simple as possible.
