How to use the marker to make a volumetric floor
No room can look stylish withoutgood, high-quality floor covering with an interesting texture or pattern. Exclusive flooring materials are an excellent (and very expensive) option for people with taste and imagination who want to go beyond typical apartment design solutions. German artist Heike Weber clearly demonstrated how you can create an extraordinary volumetric floor using a marker and a few days of meticulous work. An unusual art installation has appeared in one Bodenlos cafe in Prague. The artist painted the entire surface of the cafe floor with a red permanent marker. The volumetric floor resembles a topographical map of the area with a 3D effect - creating the illusion that the surface has become hilly. The name of the cafe literally translates as “losing the ground under your feet,” so the choice of such a decorative technique in decorating the floor is not accidental. The original white floor of the cafewas considered by the artist as a blank sheet of paper on which you can create a new space in another dimension. The red pattern on the floor is the only bright spot in the bright interior of the establishment and the main highlight of the design.
If you like to experiment with your lookyour home, are not afraid of non-standard solutions and love to draw - try to make an imitation of a three-dimensional floor! And the insatiable desire of children to draw on all surfaces around can be channeled into a useful direction! Let them create their own unique interior for the children's room.
