In this master class you will learn how to make an original craft with your own hands - a knight made of iron.
To make a knight you will need:
- Nails twenty - 2 pcs.
- Nail 150 mm - 1 pc., one small nail about 7 cm long.
- Iron stud at 16 mm thick.
- Iron deuce and five small sizes.
- Metal strip from the sofa frame.
- 2 pins from two door handles.
- Nut twist with ears, nut four.
- Cone-shaped nut. In this paper, a bushing of the frame anchor was used.
To create a shield on the iron, a rectangle 3 cm wide and 5.5 cm long is marked on the deuce.
Next, the part, fixed in a vice, is cut off using a grinder with a cutting disc.
After this, it needs to be sanded on both sides.
Now mark the center and round cutting lines 1.5 cm on each side, after which you need to cut and sand the shield.
The next touch to the shield will be its concavity, made with a hammer and a piece of iron.
The final point in the decoration of the shield is a cross welded from iron strips.
The stage of making the knight's body started with a drawing on 5 mm thick iron.
Next, you need to cut it along the contour and clean it.
To make the crusader's body "grow" further, legs must be made from large nails. 2.5 cm are cut off from the beginning of the cap.
All that remains is to weld them to the body.
Now everything is welded to a base made of iron pentagons measuring 2x4 cm.
A head about 1 cm high is cut from the stud and welded into place.
The right and left hands are made according to the same principle: first you need to bend each at the elbow, then cut off the excess part.
Attaching the arms to the body.
The belt consists of the smallest nail, bent at the waist and welded to it.
Every knight must have chain mail created using welded solders.
Also, no warrior can do without a saber. In this example, it consists of a section of the smallest nail and a section of a medium-sized nail, which are then joined and welded to the knight's belt.
It's time for him to take a shield with him to protect himself from enemies.
Well, he can't do without a hatchet: it needs to be made from a piece of iron and thin, so that it looks nice in his mighty hand. The tool must be sharpened.
The knight is ready! All that remains is painting if desired.
