Innovative restoration of the old chair
An interesting combination of modern and classicdesign of an ordinary chair that can be found in almost every home of elderly people. This old antique chair was found by designer Satoshi Itasaka in his grandmother's attic. Despite its age, the chair retained its simple but attractive silhouette and lines, but, alas, one leg and the crossbars of the back were broken.Repair using modern materials andtechnologies gave the chair a new life and an original appearance. Personally, I have such a design, the restorative design evokes associations with modern prostheses or future cyborgs. The chair has completely retained its original silhouette, and the remaining wooden parts preserve memories of bygone times and customs. The "grandmother's" chair suggests that with growthproblems associated with overproduction and consumption, we could use old things more often, combining modernity and the past.
