Installations from toilet paper from Sakir Gokcebag

A talented creator sees high art in whatanything, even in such an ordinary and prosaic material as toilet paper. Turkish designer and artist Sakir Gokcebag used more than a hundred toilet paper rolls for creative purposes in his original installations for a contemporary art gallery in Hamburg, Germany. It would seem that there is nothing complicated in the installation, but due to the scale and ingenuity, the intricate sculptures and panels look very interesting, especially when the viewer recognizes the source material. The artist says that he usually finds inspiration for his work in the surrounding everyday life and life. The process of washing dishes or reading the latest news can give the necessary impetus to the imagination. With a high degree of probability, you can guess what inspired the designer to create these sculptures. Some panels resemble the outlines of countries andcontinents on the world map, others - clouds, others - strange creatures and mythical creatures. There is even an original Christmas tree that can become an alternative to a living tree. The design idea also deserves attentionfrom the point of view of DIY room decor. And why not? Similar wall panels on a smaller scale can easily be created independently. And it goes without saying that it is the toilet wall that begs to be decorated. Modern, bold and creative! This amount of meters of toilet paper will last for a long time, because the installation can be simply admired or used for its intended purpose. Photos
