There are different options for getting out of this situation. First – just go to the store and buy the necessary thing. Second option – do this thing yourself. If you don’t have enough money or you have a lot of time, you can make a gift for your baby with your own hands. This will be a great opportunity to make your child a beautiful headdress that will not be superfluous for our cold weather.For our work we will need a special set of items, which will become the basis for the future hat.

We prepare a pattern

First of all, you need to prepare it.To do this, you need to measure the size of your baby's head. And then, around the circumference, you need to add two centimeters, especially for the seam. Sewing a baby hat can be a lot of fun. However, this task is not an easy one. It pays to pay attention to details. Our selection of sizes will take into account a baby's circumference of 45 centimeters. First of all, you need to cut out the components for the upper area for the hat. You can also try a two-layer cap solution. To do this, you just need to duplicate the details, and the hat itself will turn out much warmer.It is necessary to cut a rectangle with a length of 30 by11 centimeters. Then, you need to make two small rectangles measuring 17 by 11 centimeters. Afterwards, you need to round the corners of the rectangles.After – We work with the following details.Of course, we are talking about ear flaps. The dimensions of such a lapel with a diameter of 45 centimeters are equal to 38 centimeters by 17. It is necessary to keep the distance between the ears at 18 centimeters, and keep the width of the ear within the parameters of 10 centimeters. For the occipital region, you need to leave a height of 10 centimeters. Afterwards, we process and cut out the front lapel, the dimensions of which in this case are – 15 by 11 centimeters.We make similar parts of the same sizes using artificial fur.

Sew parts

Next, you need to use pins.To do this, you need to fasten the parts of the upper area of the hat and sew them. Afterwards, it is necessary to trim off the excess strips of fabric, or a strip, after the process of sewing the fabric on the first side of the part. Afterwards, the second side for the part is fixed, as well as – stitched in the same way as the first one.

Stitching Ovaries

To do this, you need to roll the strips of blanksin half and stitch them using a machine so that they are closer to the edges. Then, you need to pin together the blanks at the heel lapel between them, and then sew them together. This must be done in such a way that the long side remains open. Then, the sewn part must be turned out.

The final process

Next, we are left with two similar parts forthe upper area of the header. It is necessary to insert the parts into each other in such a way that they touch on the wrong sides. Then, you need to insert the rear entrance flap and the front flap, and then – pin them together using pins. The inner layer does not need to be filled; there is no need for it. Fixing will take a long time, but will simplify the sewing process.Thus, you can sew such a hat using, for example, an old sweater made of knitwear.

The idea is absolutely clear and simple. This implementation allows us to open up completely new horizons in creating clothes and insulate our children as efficiently as possible.
