Instructions for making an original envelope - stand for a postcard with your own hands.
There are many holidays.And the most common gift or addition to it is a postcard. Many collect and collect them, but save them somewhere in a drawer. Most people do not have suitable stands for postcards to keep them in a visible place. And any objects that can serve as such a stand are used. There are small plastic easels for such cases. But what if you cannot find such a thing in your city, but you really need it. A postcard can have such an intricate shape that it will not stand on its own. Also, a stand can serve as an additional element of a gift card. In the case when generally accepted and ordinary postcards have long been boring, you have the opportunity to make something more original, for example, a small postcard with an envelope in the form of a stand. With all this, you can write congratulatory words not on the postcard, but right inside the stand. This article offers you a diagram using which you can make such envelopes yourself. You can make this diagram yourself by re-drawing it. There is nothing complicated about it.
So, prepare a scrapbooking sheet or multi-colored cardboard. Redraw the finished scheme on the back side of the sheet.
As you can see, the diagram contains solid lines and dotted lines. The first ones should be used to cut out our template, and the dotted lines are the fold lines. As a result, you should get what you see in the picture.
Now we need to fasten the resulting stand using double-sided tape. We will insert the finished postcard into it.
Next, pick some nice paper and cut out two rectangles from it. Later, you will need to glue them inside the finished envelope.
Pay special attention to the size of the future postcard. Make it so that the envelope-stand can close freely.
And now we come to the final stage.You need to make a "rim" for the envelope. It will be used to close our stand. To do this, take a strip of paper (it can be colored or decorated separately with ribbons, lace, etc.). Wrap the stand with it and connect the ends so that the rim can be easily put on and taken off the structure. It can also be additionally decorated with a bow or other element. Now the envelope-stand is ready.
It will always serve as a great souvenir and an ideal addition to any postcard.
