An interesting soft toy monkey, made of terry socks, you can make very quickly

You don't need expensive material or a lot of time to make a toy, and you don't need any special sewing skills either. Anyone can handle the job, the main thing is to have the desire. Any soft toy is coziness, warmth and children's laughter. At least, most people feel that way. Manufacturers and organizers offer a huge selection of beautiful toys of various sizes, made from different materials for every taste and color. Therefore, purchasing a product is not difficult. But not always store-bought soft toys satisfy all our requests and wishes. It is much better to sew it yourself, based on your personal ideas, using skill and imagination. You can sew absolutely anything, from a frog to a huge bear. Moreover, the material for sewing can always be found at home. Today we will offer you to sew a very cute and nice soft toy monkey, sewn from terry socks. When making a monkey, remember that you can only use synthetic padding for the filling and terry socks for the base. In this case, you will get such a wonderful creation as we see in the photo below.
To sew this wonderful monkey, we needtake one pair of terry socks, necessarily soft, then the toy will be soft and pleasant to the touch. The color scheme of the product can be any, at your discretion.
First we need prepared socksturn inside out and draw individual parts of the body of our future monkey on them. We will make the body from the left sock, so we need to make the lower limbs. To do this, we need to cut the lower part of the sock into two even parts. We need to divide the right sock into all the other parts. The upper part of the sock is the mouth of the toy, we will cut out the ears on the side, the lower part of the sock will have arms (on its sides), and in the middle, between the arms, a tail.
We cut the left sock along the mark, then sew the legs, leaving a small opening between them. We turn the part inside out and stuff it with filler, in our case, synthetic padding, through the opening left.
Now the hole can be sewn up with a blind stitch so that it is not noticeable.
Let's start cutting out the rest of the parts we need. First, let's make the mouth. Cut off the part of the sock we need and stuff it with padding polyester. Then sew it up.
We need to sew the finished piece to the base of the monkey – the body.
We do the same with the toy's arms. After the arms are stuffed with padding polyester, we sew them in the designated places, as shown in the photo.
With arms, our toy already resembles a real monkey.
Now we sew on the tail, which was sewn in exactly the same way as the arms.
We still have to cut out, sew and attach the ears to the head, without which the monkey simply won’t be a monkey.Let's make the final touches. We need to sew on the eyes, which can be successfully done with ordinary buttons, and sew a stripe with black threads along the mouth. Now our original toy is ready.
