Delightful
Kanzas new crafts. It came to us not so long ago, but already had time to fall in love with many needlewomen. Once you see the luxurious lush hand-made articles from ribbons, you will definitely want to try to understand what this handcraft is based on and how you can make such decorations with your own hands.
In general, Kansas technique is used forCreating a variety of jewelry for the hair in the form of original flowers. History tells us that Japanese women traditionally decorated their hairstyles with fancy Kansas products. Now, most often, Kanzas adorn the heads of brides, they are used by people who honor the traditions of the country of the rising sun, as well as geishas.

For the creation of Kanzas in Japan, not onlyFamiliar to us satin ribbons. For their manufacture, even varnished wood, use precious metals, turtle shells, silk and even plastics. There are quite a few stylistic directions for Kanzas, the most popular of which is the creation
. In Japan, this technique is also called khan khan.
Such needlework, as the khan of the Kansas, is created fromSquare pieces of the selected material. We have such a technique known as tsumami Kanzashi. Each of the prepared segments of a square shape, folds in a certain way with the help of certain auxiliary tools, and also with their own hands. Created in this way, one petal of satin ribbons, in the future turns into a decor, in a beautiful lush flower. In addition, Kansas technique is used to create completely different products. It can be such following crafts from tapes, as: original insects, amazing accessories in the form of brooches, earrings, necklaces, interesting New Year's ornaments and different decor. You only need to select a specific topic of interest to you and begin the stage-by-stage study of the Kanzash that this master class (MK) represents.

Materials, tools and milestones

So, the story told us about what isKanzas and where it is used. Before you begin to study MK, Kanzashi for beginners, our lessons will consider what kind of details you need to have available in order to make your own crafts from tapes:

  • The most important moment in the selection of material,Is the choice of satin ribbons. Their width can be quite varied (in cm), depending on which particular product, and what size you decided to make;
  • For beginner needlewomen, at first it is betterUse a ruler and measure the required number of cm, as well as a pencil, with which you need to make notes. They determine the number and length of the necessary parts;
  • scissors;
  • For work, also prepare a lighter orA candle, the flame of which will help you fix this or that element. The needlewomen, more seriously keen on kanzash, acquire for themselves a special burner or a soldering iron;
  • Tweezers - greatly facilitates the creation processPetals. It, at certain stages, fixes the prepared part in the right place, since it is often difficult to do this with your own hands, in view of the small size (about 5 by 5 cm) of the petal itself;
  • Purchase an adhesive or glue gun. Here, by trial and error, determine with which detail it will be easier for you to work. Please note that most of the tubes with glue have long enough spouts. Thus, when you squeeze the glue, you can not calculate the force of pressing and get it with excess. To avoid this, take any of the caps and squeeze a drop of glue onto it. Next, use a toothpick and apply glue directly to the junction of a certain part of the petal. So, you can make a neat element;
  • Needle and thread. Select the thread in the tone with the main material;
  • Decorative materials. Here, choose any elements that will help you decorate your Kanzas with your own hands.

In the course of the work, repeating the teaching lessons andMaster class, you are already independently for yourself, you can determine what materials and tools you will most conveniently perform certain manipulations.
Before you proceed directly to theThe process itself, study the methodology of the work from experienced masters who are presented on Kanzash videos. This will help you to get a general idea of how different crafts and decorations are created. Kanzash technique itself is built on the production of two main types of petals: sharp and round shape of satin ribbons. A little lower, we'll look at the step-by-step lessons from the photo, on the basis of which you will understand the whole process and scope of work.

Taking as a basis lessons to create a round orSharp petals, craftsmen, using their own imagination or the experience of other needlewomen, create their own original elements for their crafts. As an example, we can give a spiral shape. By itself, this element is one of the varieties of a pointed petal.
The main work process usually starts withSquare blanks of satin ribbons. When cutting the right amount of parts, be sure to sing the cut edges with a lighter or a candle. So, you avoid the tape falling off as you go. Also for these purposes, you can use a soldering iron.
Beginning to learn lessons, do not go forCompositions and decor, which contain a large number of petals. Try at first to make Kanzash with your hands from a small number of elements in the form of small flowers, consisting of not more than five petals of each kind.
In addition to satin ribbons, you canPick and apply and other fabrics. For example, crepe-satin. Its fairly extensive color scheme will help you make more than one original product. Teach that this material has a soft structure, so it's best to make round petals out of it. This property crepe-satin is not very convenient for making pointed petals. In addition, in the process of melting, it can blacken. Pay attention to this and try not to use light shades of this material.
Also, by studying the lessons of Kansas, you can notice,That masters sometimes work with organza. Be careful, this material is heavily crumbled and often deformed. That is why in order to create Kanzashes, it is the satin ribbons that are most often used. They can easily be scorched, without deforming. The main difficulties can arise in you during the selection of the required color.

Basic types of petals

The next step-by-step instruction and master-class withPhoto, will demonstrate the schemes of step-by-step creation of the basic elements used to create the Kazan. Both beginners and experienced masters will benefit from such lessons.
Petals of the circle shape Each master class (MK)Begins with the same work on the folding of square segments in a certain way. Their length is usually equal to five centimeters. As it is correct to do, consider in the photo.

So, the first master class. The instruction, the following: it is necessary to fold a petal twice. So you get the item as in the photo:

The next step is to cut the corner and sew it. You need to trim off in a certain place and sew each side separately. As a result, you should get the following petals:

Another master class will tell you another wayCreate this type of petals. After the element is folded, and its corner is cut and sealed, it is necessary to cut off on the sides and to seal them with each other. In the photo you will find it easier to determine how this process goes:

After this, with glue, the welded sides are fixed closer to the center. In the end we have such a petal:

And the last master class (MK). Consistently repeat all the initial steps. Next, you need to bend the coal back, fold the petal twice (the bent edges should be inside).

It remains to trim the corner and solder (if desired, you can fix the thread).

Try to do all three ways and determine for yourself the most convenient. The following lessons will show you the progress of creating an acute petal.
The petal of the acute form
Such petals are also called narrow. It can be made both volumetric and flat. Use such a detail to make decor for hair clip, hoop and other accessories, and hand-made articles.
This master class demonstrates one petal, composed of two kinds. In the middle we see a high and three-dimensional detail, and on the outer edge - narrow and flat.
We begin the lessons. At the beginning, you also need to cut a certain number of squares. Next, we will add them in a certain way.
So, from the satin ribbons we make square billets in the quantity of ten pieces. For jobs, take a ribbon 5 cm wide. All the prepared parts are melted.
Further, you will be easier to navigate according toPresented scheme. The five-by-five-cm section must be folded, combining the opposite sides (angles "B" and "D"). Thus we obtain a triangular shape.

The inflection point (A C) should be slightly bent. Here we unite the edges along the lines "AB" and "SD". Now, use a candle or a lighter to scorch the edges.
At the next stage, turn the corner "B" and "D" to yourself and bend, combining the marks "A" and "C".

Our triangle rotates diagonally and again folds. Thus, we collected all the ends in one place.

The obtained part is fixed by the flame of the lighter and is glued in the area indicated according to the scheme:

The master class is coming to its end. At the final stage, this element is fired on the marked line in the diagram.

Sometimes it is used in this form to create colors that consist of many layers. Also, this workpiece can be cut according to the following scheme and get a more elegant petal:

Next, gently scorch the trimmed edges and, if necessary, lock in the area (A B C D).

In addition to the scheme, study the photo master-class, where step by step the described process is shown. A wonderful petal is obtained from a decor ribbon with an interesting pattern.

Another kind of narrow lobe is formed as follows: the initial stages are repeated according to the above scheme, after which one of these tips is bent inward.

The following video in practice will show you the creation of the main Kansashe petals. Thus, it will be easier for you to understand and disassemble all the technology of the works performed.

Master class on the creation of a flower in Kansas technique

To repeat this master class, prepare:

  • Ribbons of suitable colors (five cm);
  • tweezers;
  • scissors;
  • A lighter (candle);
  • glue.

The tape is cut into square pieces in cm. In total, we consistently cut four, eight and twenty eight blanks starting from the lighter ones and ending with the dark ones, respectively.

After that, you need to make a petal. The arrows on the photo indicate in which directions it is necessary to make corners. The edges are fused with a cigarette lighter.

The next corner is sealed. In the beginning it should be folded twice in height, mark the center and solder.

According to such a scheme we need you the number of such elements and proceed to assembling the flower.

The red mark on the photo shows whichThe area is applied glue. Gathering the middle, step by step, we begin to fix each individual petal. At the same time, the glue is applied to their base. Arrows indicate the area where they are fixed.

The wrong side looks like this:

Further, you can independently make the base for the flower, attach a special detail in the form of a fastener to it and use it as a decoration.

We have reviewed the basic points on whichKansas technique is being built. If it suits you, review other training lessons, novelties that are on our website, improve and start making your own original articles from satin ribbons.
