Plush vest made of Softy by Alize.Knitted with half double crochet stitches of 8 mm with a double thread. The yarn consumption for size 42-44 is about 7 skeins. The pattern is a rectangle with a width equal to the chest circumference plus allowance for ease of fit. The height is determined during fitting. Start knitting from the bottom and knit straight to the armholes. Then divide the fabric into the right front, back and left front, leaving two loops for the armholes, and knit the fronts and back separately. At the desired height of the armholes, connect the fabric and knit evenly to the desired height of the lapel. Tie the rectangle with single crochet stitches. Tie the top and bottom with fans of single crochet stitches. Sew on buttons. Decorate as desired.

This is my first work in the style of Irish lace and a little ribbon. The vest is crocheted from thick threads.
