It is also important to take into account that with this type of knitting, the edge of the product will curl to the side of the front surface. To avoid this, you should start knitting with a double-sided pattern, which is denser. Quite often, the initial part of the product is knitted using the "elastic" pattern, which is a popular type of knitting. "Elastic" is quite elastic. To knit it, you need to cast on front and back loops, alternating them. And in the following rows, you need to knit the front loops over the front ones, and, naturally, the back loops over the back ones. To create hats, scarves, individual parts of the product, such as cuffs, strips, collars, "garter" knitting is often used. It has the same appearance on both sides. If you want to create a more original type of pattern, then you can try to supplement the combination of front and back loops with elongated loops or closed types of yarn overs, the so-called "boobs". So, let's move on to a more detailed acquaintance with the most popular types of simple patterns. Pattern No. 1. This pattern is very easy to knit. It should be done in this way: the number of loops in the rapport should be equal to 6. To create a sample, you should dial a number of loops that is a multiple of 6. You should also not forget about the edge loops, with which each row begins and ends.
First and third rows (pattern repeat):three front loops, then knit three back loops. Second row: (repeat pattern): three front loops, then knit three back loops. Fourth and sixth rows: knit with front loops. Fifth row: create with back loops. Seventh and 9th rows: knit as in the 1st row. Eighth row: knit as in the second row.
Tenth and twelfth rows:knitting should be done using purl loops. Eleventh row: create with face loops. After that, repeat the pattern, starting from the 1st row. And then knit, following the pattern given in the diagram. Pattern No. 2 Like the previous type of pattern, this pattern is very easy to perform and will be accessible even to beginners. Pattern No. 4 The number of loops in the rapport should be a multiple of eight plus one more loop. Also, do not forget about the edge loops, with which each row begins and ends.

Fifth row (repeating part): knit two back loops, then make four front loops, then - one back and one front, two back loops and one front, one back and four front loops.
