We knit warm socks with knitting needles for a child. Detailed scheme for beginner needlewomen with a photo
Baby's feet, especially in cold weather, should always be warm, so knitted socks will come in handy. And the socks will warm the baby even more if the baby's mother knits them, because love will be put into them. Everyone does something for the first time, so let's get started knitting these wonderful baby socks. What you will need for knitting:woolen threads, a set of stocking needles and a crochet hook. Well, let's cast on loops. The number of loops should be divisible by four, so we'll cast on 28 loops, which is exactly the number that should be enough for a newborn baby. However, let's make an adjustment for the yarn. 28 loops will be just right for thick yarn, and if you have thinner yarn, you can cast on 32 loops.
Then we need to divide the loops into 4 knitting needles.and leave one, the fifth as working. First, knit with a 1x1 elastic band - 1 purl / 1 front - 20 rows - this way we get socks with a turn-up. If you don't want it, you can reduce the number of rows by exactly half - up to 10 pieces. Next, knit with front loops 5 rows in a circle. Then put two knitting needles aside, that is, leave them for a while (they can be transferred to one knitting needle for convenience or to a thread), and we ourselves will work on the heel.
We knit the remaining loops, and there should be 14 of themwith the front surface (6 rows) to get the height of the heel. Divide the loops into three knitting needles, 4 on the outer ones and 6 on the middle knitting needle. Knit the heel further. To do this, knit 4 loops, then another 5 sts from the middle knitting needle, and knit the last 6th loop together with the first st on the 3rd knitting needle. Knit the remaining three loops and turning the knitting to the wrong side, knit with purl loops according to the same pattern and from the middle knitting needle, knit the last loop together with the first loop from the last knitting needle, only with a purl loop.
We decrease to 6 loops. From the edge heel loops we knit 4 additional loops, so that we again have 28 loops. Then, returning to the loops we left, we divide everything again onto 4 knitting needles. We knit eleven rows with the front surface. Then we proceed to decreasing the sock for the newborn. On the first and 4th knitting needles we knit 3 and 2 loops together with the front loop, and on the second and third knitting needles we knit 2 and 3 loops into one at first by drawing through (the first is knitted as usual, the second is removed to the right knitting needle without knitting, but the knitting needle must be inserted as if knitting with a front loop, then we knit the 3rd with the front loop and draw it through the loop just removed).
We still have to decrease to 4 loops, pull the thread through them with a hook and secure the sock. Well then! The socks are ready! They can now be washed in warm soapy water and dried. Let your baby be warmed by both the socks and your love!
