How to knit a lightweight sweater with an openwork pattern:master class Most people often think that only warm winter clothes can be created from yarn threads. But this is far from true. By choosing high-quality natural threads, you can knit an interesting light sweater that is well suited for golden autumn. Our patterns, descriptions and photos will help you easily understand the process of knitting it. And your imagination will make the sweater exactly the one you have long dreamed of.So, let's get started. In our work we were guided by the thirty-sixth / thirty-eighth size. In brackets we will provide data for sizes forty - forty-two / forty-four - forty-six. To make such a lightweight sweater you will need: four hundred and fifty (five hundred / five hundred and fifty) grams of Shachenmayer original yarn in gray-green-blue shades; knitting needles number three and a half - four. When creating pattern "A", we dial an even number of loops. From the first to the fourth rows, we knit face loops. Fifth row: (repeating part): knit two loops together with one face, make one yarn over. Sixth row: knit face loops, while lowering the yarn overs and pulling the loops through. Seventh row: (repeating part): knit one loop crossed from the thread that goes across, make one face. Eighth – tenth rows: knit the front loops. Repeat rows one through four once, then repeat rows five through ten. When creating pattern "B": knit a number of loops that is a multiple of five plus three loops.First row: create two purl stitches. Then (repeating part): knit two loops as faces, make one yarn over, then – one draw through (slip one loop as if to face and pass it through the slipped loop), create one purl. Finish knitting this row with a purl loop. Second row: create two faces. Then (repeating part): knit two loops as purl, make one yarn over, then – two loops together as purl, create one purl. Finish knitting this row with a purl loop. Alternate the first and second rows. Determining the knitting density: when creating pattern "A": twenty-two loops in twenty-four rows form a fabric measuring ten by ten centimeters. When creating pattern "B": eighteen loops in twenty-four rows form a fabric measuring ten by ten centimeters. Progress. Making the back Cast on ninety-eight (one hundred eight / one hundred twenty-two) loops and knit ten rows using pattern "A". Then continue as follows: knit an edge loop, twenty-two (twenty-six / thirty-two) loops using pattern "A", eighteen loops using pattern "B", sixteen (eighteen / twenty) loops using pattern "A", eighteen loops using pattern "B", twenty-two (twenty-six / thirty-two) loops using pattern "A", finish with an edge loop. Having knitted forty-six (forty-four / forty-two) centimeters, you need to close the armholes on both sides once with eight (ten / twelve) loops (a total of eighty-two / eighty-eight / ninety-eight) loops. Having made another sixty-one centimeters of fabric, you need to close thirty-eight (forty / forty-two) loops in the center to provide a neck opening. Finish each part separately. Along the edge of the neck, we close in all second rows once with six loops, once with four loops. Having made another sixty-four centimeters of fabric, you need to close the loops that remain (twelve / fourteen / eighteen) on each shoulder side.Knitting the front side of the sweater Knittingwe do it in the same way as we did for the back, but in this case the neckline will be deeper. To achieve this, we need to close the middle thirty-four (thirty-six / thirty-eight) loops after fifty-eight centimeters from the beginning of knitting in all second rows. This needs to be done once for four, once for three loops, twice for two loops and once for one loop. And after another sixty-four centimeters we close the remaining twelve / (fourteen / eighteen) loops of each shoulder side.Knitting the sleeves of a light sweater Casting on with knitting needlesForty-eight (fifty-three) loops. Next, knit, following pattern "B". Having knitted fourteen centimeters, use pattern "A". In this case, you need to add the same number of loops on both sides: in all eighth rows, add four times one loop and in all sixth rows seven times one loop. As a result, add eighty-two (ninety / one hundred) loops. Having knitted another fifty (fifty-three) centimeters, you need to close all the loops. Assembling a lightweight sweater Make 1 seam along the shoulder. You need to dial one hundred and eighteen (one hundred and twenty virgin / one hundred and twenty-six) loops along the edge of the neck, while stretching them a little. Create from the second to the tenth rows, using pattern "A". Next, you need to close all the loops. Then do the same with the second shoulder seam. We sew the sleeves into the armholes, then stitch the product along the sides. That's it! Our light sweater is ready!
