Knitted dragon is the work of Marina
Hello! I have never participated in needlework competitions. My name is Marina, now I'm on maternity leave, which allows me to do my favorite thing. So I decided to link the symbol of the coming year - the dragon - to the New Year holidays. It was based on the scheme that I found. But I always like not to copy, but to alter to the image that is formed in my knitting process. In the beginning, it changed for the coming year of the black or dark blue dragon, then to make the celebration use the brilliant silver yarn "Asterisk" and dark blue, slightly "shaggy" yarn "Crystal". Has a little changed the form of a muzzle and wings, has made other eyes, nostrils and has added ears. The younger son sits down next to the dragon and reads to him fairy tales, while he puts his ears upright, says that it seems as if he listens to him very carefully. And the older one likes to lower the ears, then the face takes a slightly guilty, funny look. 
The height of the dragon is 20 centimeters, the hook is 1.3mm. The main yarn is dark blue 100% mercerized cotton "Coco". 
The work takes part in a prize of 1,000rubles. The winner of the nomination "New Year's sympathies" is determined by the rating.
