Knitting a rug with needles: a master class

And if there is a preschooler in the family, then the mat will be useful to him in kindergarten: it is convenient to stand on it at the dressing room so as not to dirty the socks on the dirty floor. You can choose the color scheme for the rug to your liking, but the yarn is better to use the same quality, otherwise the related parts may inaccurately lie in the finished product. In this case, I knitted a small rug with knitting needles 25x25 cm in size from the remnants of half-woolen yarn.

We collected the ready rug from 10 rectangulardetails. The length of each part must be equal to the width multiplied by 5. In this case, for the strip we scored 10 loops, which were 5 cm; accordingly, the length of each strip equals 25 cm. In principle, there is no difference, knit the strips with knitting needles or a crochet, loop along or across, the main thing is to correctly calculate the number, length and width of rectangles. Finished parts need to be steamed through wet gauze and allowed to dry completely in straightened form. Now the mat needs to be assembled: put the parts on a flat surface, alternating them in the desired staggered order; around the perimeter - fasten parts with small needles. Crochet the rug around the perimeter firstordinary columns without nakida. Each strapping will capture two parts: one along and one across. On the corners of the product we knit in three columns without single crochet in one loop. We tie a rug around the perimeter with a second row without crochet, in the corner loops of the previous row also knit three columns. It remains to gently hide the sticking ends of the threadsin the finished rug and again otparit the entire product from the inside. Knitting mat from the remnants of yarn ready! It happens that even the ironed and steamed parts in the finished product continue to twist and stick out. In this case, you can gently grab them from the wrong side with the help of an ordinary needle and thread. Apply the idea of ​​such a rug can be knitting, for example, coasters under the hot, naturally, using for this the remnants of only cotton yarn. It is possible to tie off the edges not with boring posts, but with air festoons or to decorate with fringe. Agree that the product is so simple in execution that even a completely inexperienced craftswoman will cope with it, and the mat looks like a ready-made knitting needle very original.
