Let's create a women's sweater with a Norwegian pattern.Cast on four hundred and eighty stitches on circular knitting needles and knit according to pattern M1 to begin with. Then knit with a two by two elastic band, four centimeters. When the fabric size reaches thirty-eight centimeters, close the stitches evenly on both sides for the armholes. There should be one hundred and fifty-two stitches left on the knitting needles. Put them aside and proceed to the sleeves.
The sleeves are knitted from fifty-six loops, also in a circle. The first ten centimeters are knitted with a two-by-two elastic band, then one row is knitted with face loops.
We decrease the loops evenly on each side. We continue to knit according to the M2 pattern, then we knit with a stocking stitch. Put the sleeve aside when its length reaches forty-five centimeters. The second one is knitted in exactly the same way.
Transfer the sleeve stitches to the main needlesfabric and close the circle. Having knitted the first circle with face loops, we continue knitting according to the M3 pattern. After finishing knitting according to this pattern, there should be one hundred and twelve loops on the needles.
To make a collar, knit the loopselastic band two by two ten centimeters. Close the loops as follows: front loops with front loops, and purl loops with purl loops. Sew open parts under the sleeves. Such a simple, warm sweater knitted independently on knitting needles with a simple pattern, is well suited for both the female and male half of humanity.
