Knitting a winter hat with a pompon knitting needles. Detailed diagram with description and photo for beginners
If you have not been knitting for very long, it is betterjust start with something simple. This way you will gain skills and then be able to move on to more complex models. You can knit a winter hat in two evenings. Because you will use a thick thread, and the loops will easily fold into the fabric. The hat is knitted on only two knitting needles, which is ideal for beginner needlewomen. To knit such a hat, you will need wool yarn of any color and knitting needles that suit your size.
The hat is knitted in one piece and then sewn together.on the back of the head. Cast on 75 stitches and knit 8 rows with an elastic band, alternating purl and facial stitches. Next, move on to knitting a braid pattern. Knit 5 purl stitches at the beginning of the row, then 7 facial stitches and the same number of purl stitches. Repeat this until you have 7 rapports with facial stitches. As a result, you should get braids, which will be the basis for our pattern. Continue knitting 36 rows in this way with a straight cloth. The next step is to decrease the stitches. To do this, knit the third and fourth stitches together in the rapports. Then decrease only after two rows. And so on until the rapports disappear. When they disappear, close all the stitches. Now you need to make the back seam. A crochet hook is best suited. Pull the product together at the crown, threading the thread from the air loops. All that's left is to make the pompom.
For this you will need cardboard, a needle andthick eye, a compass and the same thick threads that you used when knitting the hat. First, draw a medium-sized circle using a compass. Draw another circle inside, which will be three times smaller than the first. Then cut out the blank along the contours. You should get a "donut" with a hole. Make another blank in the same way.
Place the resulting circles together.Take the thread and start winding it on the stencil, passing the thread through the hole between them. Continue winding until the hole is completely filled. Then cut the threads along the outside of the "donut". After that, you should move the blanks apart. To secure the pompom, knit a bunch of threads in the center. After you take out the cardboard, you need to fluff the threads to give the pompom volume. And the threads you tied the pompom with can be used to tie it to the hat. In the end, you got an interesting hat with a pompom that will warm your head and ears in winter.
