In ancient times almost all dolls were sewed with caring hands of loving mothers and carried in themselves their love, warmth, experiences and, of course, love. Agree, there is nothing more pleasant and more expensive for a baby than to receive as a gift a doll sewed by his beloved mother. But today we will talk about the doll, which will become, rather, an ornament, an object of the interior, than a banal toy. In this article we will try to teach you how to sew an interior doll "Anna Bollein" from a fabric. You can sew this doll in two ways -a one-piece figure dressed in a dress of the appropriate time, or to do all the details in turn. This is the second way we want to offer you. So, we will start your creative process from the creation of the face. Ideally, it's best to make sketches on paper, and then transfer the idea to the fabric. After passing through the first stage, we proceed to the second stage. We need to carve an oval for the face of our future doll. For this purpose, white fabric, textile or cotton, at your discretion, is suitable, but for the occipital part we will need to take exactly black knitwear. Also we need to carve out a rectangular detail, which, in consequence, becomes the neck of the doll. For the neck to hold its head well, we will insert a bobbin (empty) from under the thread for sewing into it. Also we need to cut an oval from a cardboard, the size of which will be somewhat smaller than the previous ovals. Now we need to stitch the details of the face and the nape of the necktogether. On the occipital oval, black, we need to make a small cut in order to twist the workpiece. A small oval, which we cut out of cardboard, we need to wrap the sintepon and insert inside the workpiece. If necessary, on the part of the face and the side of the neck, we also fill the sintepon further. Hard cardboard will not allow the doll's parts to deform and will help preserve its shape. Model the spout on the face of the doll. To do this, we need to make a small guard, which is sewn with a needle and thread from both sides, forming a roller of the required width. We make a head of cotton fabric according to thethe same principle as the previous version. Now we need to prime the doll's head, but only the future face of the product is to be primed. As a primer, we will use the most common PVA adhesive. Now we need to lay out on the sheet of paper the details of the neck, head and shoulders, which is a cardboard strip in two pieces (for stiffness), wrapped in a sintepon ribbon. Based on the size of these details, we need to draw a drawing of our future doll. We will select the proportions individually, the main thing is that they look harmonious. At the same time, we can cut the corsage out of cardboard. In this version of the doll, the presence of the lower limbs is not necessary, so it will be enough to make a trunk and a fluffy lower skirt. Now we need to stuff the cover for the trunksintepon, as it is shown in the photo, and also insert inside it a shoulder stock (a kind of spacer) and neck. All the details are sewn neatly. To the lower part of the trunk, we need to sew a lower, very lush skirt. Its role will be performed by a wide enough strip of white matter. This skirt for puffiness is folded. It's time to go back to face, or rather, tohis paintings. Our heads dried out after the primer, so you can start painting them. We will do it with acrylic paints. On the face of cotton fabric the paint will be more clear and even, on the second variant of the head (acrylic surface) the acrylic does not lie so smoothly, therefore the image will be more vague. What option to leave, it's up to you. We like the likelier version of the head to the neck. We begin to create details of the order. First we need to make a skirt. It will be a long strip of material, having an insert and sewn on the sides. A piece of rectangular tissue is cut out for the back. The corsage is a cardboard base covered with a piece of cloth. On the underside of the base, the fabric needs to be tightened with threads, and not glued, otherwise serious problems may arise with subsequent beads sewn on it. It is the tight corsages on which the calyxes were not provided, and were in vogue in the era that we are reproducing. We proceed to the preparation of hands. These are tubes that do not have fingers. We need to stitch them, turn them out and not very tightly fill them with sintepon. That it was more convenient to make, sintepon it is necessary spiraling on a stick. It is most difficult to sew the sleeves of a dress. The lower part of them is made of two separate parts. We need to make a cap that is brighta detail that allows us to identify the image we are creating. It has the form of a so-called house. We need to cut out a strip of cardboard. The main thing is not to forget that the figure of the doll is quite flat. Now we need to cut out the back of the cardboard, which provides rigidity and shape. We cut out the carton blank from the fabric twodetails, sew them and turn them out. It turned out a cover, which we will wear on the cardboard part. One side of the cover must be black, and on the reverse side it must be white, like the face of the pupa. It should be remembered during the work that the corners must be cut off. Then, when the corner we turn out, it will have a clearness. On the head of the doll, we sew across the striped fabric details, and already to them we will sew the stock of the cap.
