Nowadays, ball-jointed dolls are usedunprecedented popularity, especially BJD dolls. However, their price is high and not everyone can afford them. But don't be upset. Ball-jointed dolls can be made by yourself, this will require perseverance, attentiveness and patience. There are various options for making a toy known all over the world. Ball-jointed dolls are made of papier-mâché, clay. In the article, we will tell you in detail and step by step how to make it from plastic, starting with the diagram and ending with decorations and accessories.
First you need to purchase for workplastic. The body of the toy should be without filler. Take the foil and wrap the base with cling film. Then mold the remaining parts of the body in the same way. You need to wait until the plastic becomes hard and carefully pull the foil out of the body of the toy.
In the next step we have to make a doll.volumetric. To do this, we cut the legs and arms into 3 parts. We make hinges in advance (they are the axis of rotation) and attach them to the doll's hips. Then we assemble the doll's parts, make adjustments to the body parts if necessary, and make small slits for the thread.
The next stage is the actual process itself.sculpting and cutting out the hands and feet. If the fingers break (they are fragile), you can glue them on with super glue. Then sand the body of the product with sandpaper. Check all the holes and hinges. Again, substitute all the parts and make sure they connect. The only thing left is to prime. For this, we use paint or acrylic varnish. We carefully paint all the parts. We recommend stringing the body parts on drink straws - this will make it easier to paint them. Wait until everything dries. Then we cover all the parts with varnish.
The next stage is painting the face.Draw eyes, mouth, nose, eyebrows. Take a cotton swab soaked in glue and apply it to the hair. Attach the hair to the doll's head. Assemble all the parts. Make a small hole on the hands and feet and insert a wire. Attach an elastic band to it. Then assemble the body parts of the finished doll.Dear craftswomen, now you can easilymake a ball-jointed doll not only for yourself, but also give it as a souvenir.
