The finished product can have the following dimensions:
- waist – 66, 72, 78, 88, 98, 110 centimeters;
- length – 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56 centimeters.
- Before starting work, prepare the following materials and tools:
- circular knitting needles equal in length to 60 and 80 centimeters, and in thickness to 4 millimeters;
- pink yarn Cotton Merino from Garnstudio (52% wool, cotton - 48%, density - 120m/50g) - 250, 300, 300, 350, 350, 400 grams;
- elastic band - approximately 66-100 centimeters long - focus on your waist circumference.
This skirt is characterized by the following densityknitting: stocking stitch 21 loops x 28 rows, which is equal to 10 x 10 centimeters, sample in accordance with diagram A2 - 1 rapport - 6 centimeters.
The following patterns will be used:Garter stitch - alternate a circular row of knit stitches and a circular row of purl stitches. One furrow is equal to two such rows. Other patterns are knitted according to diagrams A1 and A2. Decreasing loops is done as follows: one loop on both sides of each mark. That is, in the first row with decreases, decrease one loop on the right side of all markers, in the next row, decrease one loop on the left side of the markers. Decreasing loops before the markers (on the right side): remove one loop as if it were a front one, knit the next one as a front one and throw the removed first loop over the knitted one. Decreasing loops after the marker (on the left side): knit two loops together as a front one.
We knit the skirt with circular knitting needles, starting from the bottomtowards the waist. Cast on 342, 361, 399, 437, 494, 532 stitches with knitting needles. Knit the pattern according to diagram A1 until the end of the row (18, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28 repeats of the pattern rapport), and there will be (306, 323, 357, 391, 442, 476) stitches left on the knitting needles. Then continue knitting according to diagram A1, repeating all the rows of the diagram once. After that, knit according to diagram A2, repeating the pattern vertically once. Next, knit two furrows using garter stitch (4 rows).
Continue knitting according to pattern A2 untiluntil the height of the fabric is 17 centimeters from the cast-on row. The next row is knitted with face loops with an even decrease of 78, 84, 97, 104, 114, 123 loops along the entire length of the row (i.e. approximately every third or fourth loop is knitted together). As a result, after the decrease, 228, 239, 260, 287, 328, 353 loops will remain on the knitting needles.
Now we place marks (markers) in this wayin this order: count 38, 39, 43, 47, 54, 58 stitches and place the first marker. Next count 38, 41, 44, 49, 56, 60 stitches and place the second marker. Again count 38, 39, 43, 47, 54, 58 stitches and place the third marker. Again count 38, 39, 43, 47, 54, 58 stitches and place the fourth marker. Count 38, 42, 44, 50, 56, 51 stitches and place the fifth marker. Finally count 38, 39, 43, 47, 54, 58 stitches and place the last, sixth mark.
Now we move on to knitting with the front surface (allthe loops in the circular rows will be front) and in the second row we make decreases by one loop next to each marker. We repeat similar rows with decreases every 1.5 centimeters of the fabric. As a result, there will be 15, 15, 16, 17, 20, 20 rows with decreases, and 138, 149, 164, 185, 208, 233 loops will remain on the knitting needles. After this, we knit using the front surface without decreases. As soon as the size of the skirt is 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56 centimeters, knit one circular row with purl loops, and then knit with the front surface in height another two centimeters. Upon completion, we close the loops. We assemble the product. We fold the edge of the skirt twice to the wrong side and carefully hem it with stitches, leaving a small opening into which the elastic waistband is then inserted.
