At a certain point in time, your child will ask you: "I want such a toy!". For this case, we reserved this master class, which compiled a list of options for making a house for the Barbie dolls with their own hands. One of the simplest variants of hand-making a house for Barbie is to make it out of cardboard boxes. To do this, you should stock up on the following materials and tools:

PVA glue;
several identical boxes made of dense (corrugated) cardboard;
stationery knife;
pieces of wallpaper (color);
sheet of cardboard (corrugated) of equal density in boxes;
scissors;
colored paper;
line;
pencil (graphite).

Step # 1. The ideal material for the Barbie's house will be two cardboard boxes made from bananas. We dock them with each other and fix them with glue. Step number 2. Then take a sheet of cardboard (of the same density) or a third box, from which you need to cut two rectangles of the same size. The length of the sides of this rectangle should be equal to the width of the box (or rather of its bottom), and the width of the rectangle should be equal to the depth of the box. The above elements will be needed for us as interfloor overlappings. Step # 3. After that, you need to cut 4 more pieces of the same size. Their length should be slightly less than the depth of the box, and the width - 1.5-2 cm. Step # 4. Then you can try to try on the layout of the floors that separate the house into floors. Use a simple pencil to make marks in the right places. Step # 5. Slightly below the marks made, we glue our blanks on each side of the box (one for each wall) and place an overlap on them. Thanks to this house Barbie got four separate rooms. Step # 6. Now it's time to make windows. Take a ruler and a simple pencil and with their help draw outlines of future windows from the outer (side) side of each box. The size of the windows should be approximately 7x7 cm. Using a stationery knife, carefully cut them out. In the same way, it is necessary to cut interior doors for each floor. Step # 7. We begin to make the roof of our house. To do this, we will need one more piece of cardboard, which in width should be equal to the depth of the box and along the length is the same as the width of the box plus another 40 cm. This part should be bent in half, creating the necessary shape, like a real roof, and attaching her glue to the Barbie's house. Step # 8. As a result, under the roof you have a living room for dolls. To make it complete, you need to build a back wall for the deaf. To do this, cut out the cardboard part of the size that you need. We paste it with a paper of interesting color to you or the remains of wallpaper, depending on what kind of decor for the nursery or bedroom you plan, and paste it on the back side. Step number 9. The cardboard house for Barbie is ready. Listening to the wishes of the child, we proceed to internal design work. As wallpaper for the walls of the house we can use colored paper, bright magazine clippings, and if you wish, simply decorate with watercolor or gouache. To create comfort, try making small curtains on the windows from the cloth, and on the floor - pieces of carpet or linoleum. Thus, you can easily and quickly make an original house for Barbie from cardboard boxes. However, this is not the only option for creating a house for a doll.
