It will take very little time for a beautiful flower, drawn with an ordinary pencil with your own hands, to please you with its realism. Flowers are one of the simplest objects that you can quite easily learn to draw. These wonderful plants have long delighted all people without exception. They were a source of magical aromas and a way to express their feelings, convey emotions, decorate your hair or outfit, add notes of warmth and perfection to the interior of the room. Many famous artists painted entire paintings depicting these amazing creations of Mother Nature. Sometimes, every person observing plants has a desire to draw this or that flower on their own. Learning to draw them is absolutely not difficult. Today we offer you a simple drawing of a lily step by step. Drawing this beautiful flower is quite simple even for a novice artist. To get a lily, you only need to draw its petals symmetrically and correctly, and also add a few important details. Such lilies will look great in a bouquet, especially if other flowers are included. But first, we will try to draw one flower, and only then we can make various other drawings with its image. We will draw a lily in several stages, adding new details one by one. As a drawing tool, we will use an ordinary simple pencil. After we draw a sketch, it remains to color it with colored pencils or paints. At the first stage of our work, we will draw the main contours of the plant stem and its bud. To make the image large and expressive, you need to unfold the paper. Any lily, in particular a water lily, has a large flower and a long stem, sometimes reaching up to two meters. We need to try to emphasize its impressive size in our drawing. In the second stage we need to outline the contoursflower petals. It is quite enough to make seven contours in any order, for example, as shown in the picture. Having drawn these lines, we move on to the next stage. The third stage is the image of the formflower petals. It is not difficult to do this, the main thing to remember is that the lily petals are arranged in two rows. There is an upper row and a lower one. The upper petal of the lily covers the two that are located below. The size of the petals and their shape can be arbitrary. Just do not forget that both symmetry and proportions must be observed. Also, attention should be paid to the other part of the flower - the stem.In the fourth step we will remove it using the eraserall the initial lines and contours. Now we will draw the final contours. You can not be afraid to draw the petals, because it does not require special accuracy. As in nature, there should not be absolute accuracy in the drawing. But this is precisely the charm of the image.Step five – adding details to ourflower. First, we will draw small leaves on the stem. They can be drawn at your discretion, it is only important that they have an elongated narrow shape. In the middle of the flower, we will draw stamens. Their number should be from seven to eight pieces. We will add a few strokes on each petal, as in the picture. In principle, our drawing is almost ready, we need tojust color it. You might want to do it only with a simple pencil. Then you need to make the shading approximately the same as in the picture. But remember that the lily is a very delicate flower and it is almost impossible to convey its shades with a pencil. To bring the picture closer to the original, do not apply the shading too intensively, otherwise the image will be spoiled. It is better to use paints or colored pencils for coloring, then you will be able to convey all the charm of this royal plant.
