A crochet lesson for a cute lily flower with step-by-step recommendations, a description of knitting techniques and photos

All women love flowers.Bright, delicate, large and small. But in winter, flowers can only be found in flower shops. However, you can crochet them to make them pleasing to the eye on cold winter days. And in this master class we will knit a tiger lily. This flower can also be used as a decoration, for example, as a hair clip or a beautiful brooch.

Necessary tools and materials

To knit lilies we will need:

  • Yarn of orange, green (melange), brown and beige;
  • Hook;
  • Wire;
  • Glue.

Description of the work process

Using this principle you can knit not onlytiger, but also any other lily. You just need to choose the colors. First we will knit petals for the future flower. They will be orange. And so let's take yarn of this color. Let's make twenty air loops.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №1Next we knit one stitch into the third loopwithout a crochet. We knit one half double crochet into each next column. We will knit four of them in total. Now we will knit nine double crochet stitches. Let's do half double crochets again, but this time three. And at the end we will knit one single crochet. This is what the first row of a lily petal looks like. We still have two more rows left to knit. That is, each petal will consist of twenty chain stitches and three rows of knitting.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo # 2To start knitting the second row of the flower, we will makeone air loop. And turn the petal. Now let's start knitting in the opposite direction. Next we will knit two single crochets, two half double crochets, two single crochets, four double crochets, three double crochets, two half double crochets, two single crochets. We have reached the end. We’ll knit it like this: We’ll knit one half double crochet into one loop, we’ll also knit one double crochet, and here we’ll also knit one double crochet, one double crochet and one half double crochet.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Picture №3Now we will knit on the other side.We will knit two single crochets, two half double crochets, three double crochets, four double crochets, two single crochets, two half double crochets, three single crochets.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №4This is what one lily petal looks like.We need six such petals, and therefore we will knit five more in the same way as we knitted the first. But we will connect without interruption. Just after the first petal is ready, we’ll make twenty air loops and knit the second petal.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №5And so we will connect all the other petals of the flower.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №6We need to insert a thin wire into the petals,so that they keep their shape. To do this, we tie each petal continuously with single crochets, tying in a wire. We insert a separate wire into each petal. You can use floral wire. It bends well, but it's not weak. With its help you can give the petals any shape. You can also take wire that is intended for beads. But it is worth remembering that it is thinner and bends easier.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №7Take pieces of wire and bend them a littleon top, where the stamen will be. That is, we need to give the shape of a tiny letter “T” above. Now we wrap the wire with flesh-colored yarn. And the stamen itself is brown yarn. To ensure that the yarn holds well, we use glue. And glue the yarn a little.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo №8We collect a flower. We insert the stamens into the middle. And we twist all the pieces of wire from below under the flower.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo Number 9We wrap them with green yarn. This will be the stem.Now we need to knit the leaves for the lily. To do this, take green yarn. It's better to take melange. It produces different shades of green. And it looks very beautiful. We make eighteen chain stitches. We knit a single crochet into the third loop. And we will tie another similar column into the next one. Now we will knit nine half double crochets and five single crochets. Let's make one air loop. Let's turn the knitting. We will knit three single crochets, two half double crochets in one loop, three half double crochets, two half double crochets in one loop, seven single crochets and one chain stitch. At the end we will knit it like this: In one loop there is one half double crochet, one double crochet, one double crochet, one double crochet and one half double crochet. Let's tie it on the other side. This will be the last row. Let's make one air loop and knit seven single crochets. Next we will knit two half double crochets in one loop, three half double crochets, again two half double crochets in one loop and four single crochets. This is what the leaf will look like.Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Picture №10Let's knit another leaf like this. You can also tie wire here. Attach both leaves to the flower. This is how you get a crocheted lily!Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. Photo Number 11 Photo to a lesson on crochet crochet lilies. You can also tie several of these lilies and make a bouquet or composition from them.
